We may not have brought home the trophy this time, but the boys were incredible all weekend and smashed most of their games.
Luck just wasn’t on our side today, but every parent and manager couldn’t be prouder of this Lions team 💙

Massive well done to Owen for scoring his very first hat-trick! ⚽️⚽️⚽️🔥

Freddie, Will and Oakley weren’t far behind with some fantastic goals of their own 👏

David was outstanding in goal once again, pulling off some unbelievable saves and keeping us going throughout the tournament 🧤🙌

And somehow Dim still hasn’t lost all his hair from the sidelines yet 😂

Another brilliant weekend full of football, memories and team spirit.

What a performance from the boys today! Going 1-0 down and battling back to finish with an incredible 7-2 win showed real determination, teamwork and character from every single player.

With only 7 players available, the lads gave absolutely everything and left the pitch exhausted at full time — proud is an understatement! 💪⚽️🦁

Although today every single player could have taken home POTM — outstanding effort all round 👏

Today marked Devon & Nell’s last game for the Lions as they move on to join their all-girls team. We want to wish them both the very best of luck — you’ll both be massively missed! 💫

Devon & Nell kindly brought sweets for the whole team — such a lovely gesture 🍬

The team put in an incredible performance, giving it their all right until the final whistle. It was unlucky to come away with a 7–5 loss, but what a game and what a fight from every single player 👏🔥
