⚽️⚽️ MATCH REPORT ⚽️⚽️

Today we had a late kick off away down at Ketley against a strong and well established Sinclair team who have been a solid consistent mid tier team for some time.

The game started well with the boys adjusting quickly to the pace of Sinclair and quickly learned it was a going to be a defensive battle. They battled hard and put in the energy to keep track of Sinclair.

Unfortunately, it wasn't too long before sinclair managed to take some good chances against us and pull away.

The boys continued on with their fight but got sloppy cleaning their lines at times which unfortunately led to us conceding with the same mistake on several occasions. It wasn't all doom and gloom for Randlay though who had their own own share of great attacking, a couple of great shots which were saved by an equally good gk and some very strong defending both at the back and in the nets with our GK.

Without tough games like today we can never grow or learn so take the lessons learned back to training and go again.

Man of the match this week again voted for by the parents went to both McAnthony and AJ, this is the second or third time the boys have sared this award this season and it was well deserved, McAnthony was once again consistently strong at the back, great defending and dominant on that back line and its easy to forget he is playing a yesr up so well done McAnthony. Equally AJ made some great stops in places and kept pushing on despite the battle he faced , remaining positive and thinking of the next move is all we can ask of our GK who has a tough job so again well done AJ and thank you parents for your votes.

We draw to a close on the season next week so have ample oppurtunity to grow on this season and learn from games like today .

⚽️⚽️ MATCH REPORT ⚽️⚽️

After a tough midweek game to complete our summer series group on Thursday the boys travel to NC today.

The pitch is a tough pitch to play on and NC are a solid mid tier team but we carried momentum from Thursday into today's game.

Randlay had a few changes of positions today as we draw towards the end of the season and the boys all battled well and took to their new positions equally well which is all we ask.

We seen some great saves from the GK, consistently good defending, some hard work and battling from midfield and some great chances upfront. The boys at times played some great passing football which leaves the coaches something to build from to teach what happens following the pass. Some really impressive moments today so the boys should be proud.

We had lots of chances against a strong NC and a good GK which if we finished could have turned the game around but we did bag 1 goal coming from James.

James was nice and positive today and found himself in some great scoring positions, after taking lots of his chances his work finally paid off lifting the team spirits with a goal in the second half.

The whole team played well and again if we keep building we will become a solid team even more so than we are at the moment.

Today's man of the match goes to James for his positive attitude, some great passing and to pop the cherry on top his great goal. Well done James you worked hard for that and it’s fully deserved.

We head back into training this week to brush up on some pointer we have seen ready take the battled to our opposition next week.

⚽️⚽️ MATCH REPORT ⚽️⚽️

Today the coaches finally had a break from setting the goals up and we travelled to a friendly NC Juniors team, nice and early to treat all the parents. Mother’s Day and silent weekend made for a different feel around the pitch today.

The match kicked off and off the boys went, battling hard and busy from the first minute. NC didn’t want to give us an easy ride and after several chances we couldn't convert into goals. We had some great play from Theo upfront and Sam later on aswell as some great defending including our GK who made some crucial saves.

The boys had to fill in with some positions they may not normally play and everyone done a great job of staying focused to achieve the same goal.

First half finished with 1 up with a great strike from Jacob outside the box just managing to slip through the keepers legs with the second half bringing lots of chances but it wasn't until the last minutes we managed to sneak another great goal from Ethan.

Today's man of the match voted for by parents went to Jacob, a slight ni**le on his ankle but battled hard, got a goal and fully deserved the trophy. Well done Jacob 💙

Today's game was a pleasure to watch and enjoyed all round. Thank you to those who managed to organise lifts and drop offs and thank you for your continued support.
