 🎉🏆 What an incredible day for our team! We secured our first league victory yesterday, and the ladies were absolutely outstanding! They came out strong, hunting for that first goal, and it didn’t take long to find it.
👏 Jas Symonds kicked things off with a goal just 2 minutes in, thanks to a brilliant setup by Bo Deas. Faith Bulloch followed up with two more goals, assisted by Bo Deas and Daisy Craik. Just before halftime, Alice Wyatt delivered a stunning strike, again assisted by Bo Deas, putting us at 4-1.
In the second half, the team showed amazing resilience, holding off a tough Finchampstead reserve team, who certainly upped their game!Ellie Wiltshire's fantastic cross allowed Grace Martin to seal the deal, wrapping up a fantastic day for the Kingfishers!

Massive thanks to Reading FC Women for coming down and helping us laugh and celebrate our women's team.

Special mention to Lily our GK who was outstanding all game. She was brave throughout and made some amazing saves.

POTM - Grace M. Fantastic performance from Grace. She worked tirelessly all game. Amazing work defensively and was calm on the ball to help us move forward.

It was incredible to have over 270 people through our gates for our first home game together. Thank you for showing us so much support and we can't wait to see you soon.

A fantastic start to our pre-season ahead of what looks to be a very exciting year together. Some fantastic football played after a few weeks off (until it got too dark to continue!) and the attitude and effort shown by the whole team was top class.
