Ashley Dance Company is a dance school based in Thetford, Norfolk, offering a range of professional & affordable lasses for both children and adults. We pride ourselves on providing a safe & friendly environment for our students & families, where we describe ourselves as one big 'Dance Family'. We have classes available for all abilities, in a wide range of subjects so whether you are a beginner who has always wanted to dance or you are or have a budding performer or professional who is seeking dance training, we will have something to suit. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Musical Theatre, Contemporary & Commercial/Street Dance. All of our teachers are ex professional dancers/performers who have a great deal of experience within the dance industry. We are qualified, DBS checked & first aid trained. ADC provide lots of opportunities throughout the year for our students to perform at various events within our local community. We put on annual showcases, attend regional competitions, offer summer schools, West End workshops, annual parties & in-house award ceremonies.

🎢💗 EXCITING NEWS!! 💗🎢

We’re SO excited to announce that we have been invited to perform at THORPE PARK! 🤩

Our dancers will be taking to the stage as part of the So You Want To Dance – Fright Night event on Saturday 17th October! 👻✨

An amazing opportunity for a select group of our students to perform right in the heart of the park, followed by plenty of time to enjoy the rides and Fright Night fun! 🎃🎢

We can’t wait to give our dancers this incredible performance experience and make some amazing memories together! 🖤💗

We’re loving being back in the studio - working hard on technique, starting new choreo for solos, duets & groups. We also have some very exciting performance opportunities coming up over the next few months we’re preparing for!!

Wishing a HUGE congratulations to our 2 gorgeous senior girls Holly & Teiya who have successfully auditioned for the Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal panto - Dick Whittington. AND they’re both cast on the same team so will be rehearsing and performing together all throughout the panto season!

So well deserved, you both work so hard! We’re so excited for you and cannot wait to watch you 🥰

✨ NEW TEACHER ALERT ✨

We’re very excited to introduce the second new addition to the ADC family from September! Everybody meet Grace 💞

Some of the children (and parents) may recognise Grace as she helped chaperone backstage for our Sunday shows this year. Grace has 7yrs of dance teaching experience both in dance schools and educational settings and is also qualified with Acrobatic Arts so is going to be a fantastic addition to our ever growing school! Grace also chaperones the pantomime at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds so if you’re auditioning this year, you might see a lot of her at the theatre too!

Grace says “I strive to create a positive environment where students can build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy dancing. I can’t wait to help every student reach their full potential, grow in confidence, and flourish as dancers, all while creating a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging environment where everyone feels welcome.”
