The Titchmarsh Playing Fields & Pavilion is the perfect venue for all sorts of events - inside and out! We have a 60 seater function room which is both light and ariy - perfect for parties, wedding receptions, business meetings and other gatherings. It's also remote which means any noise won't upset the neighbours. That makes it ideal for things like band practise and exercise classes. Every year we host several fund-raising events. These include the popular 10k Road Race and 3k Fun Run and a popular Quiz; we're also always on hand at the village fete BBQ each summer. Details of each event will be posted on this page in due course. Free Community Wi-Fi is kindly provided by Gigaclear.

There are some repair works going on in the Play Area to repair the flooring particularly around the bottom of the slide...

There are some repair works going on in the Play Area to repair the flooring particularly around the bottom of the slide. While the contractors are working on it and the ‘soft-pour’ flooring sets, the play area is out of use.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but hope you’ll understand why it needs to happen.

We’re delighted that funds raised through our recent 10k & 3k Road Race have enabled the pavilion to receive a fresh coat of paint.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, volunteered, donated, or supported the event. Your contributions have helped brighten and refresh this valuable community space for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you everyone. That’s a wrap on the 2026 road races and, from our side, it’s been a great success. Thanks must go to our volunteers, supporters and sponsors - Mowerman, Smiths Fire, MJC Electrical and The Wheatsheaf In Titchmarsh.

There's now only 1 day to go until the Titchmarsh 10k and entries close at 8pm this evening (9 May).

Get out there and enjoy it! We WILL NOT accept on-the-day entries - don't ask as you will be politely turned away. Check your emails for bib numbers; please remember that access to the village is only from the A605.

The weather is looking good for runners with temperatures in the mid-teens, overcast skies and a steady to moderate breeze so make sure you dress appropriately and have properly hydrated (we have 2 water stations on the course and at the finish line). It's not going to be the scorcher it was last year and the wind will be on your back for the return leg!

If you're not running, why not come down to the High Street and cheer on our competitors? It's alway a lovely atmosphere and Gem and the team at The Wheatsheaf at Titchmarsh will be serving refreshments with the bar open from 0930....

We’ll see you on the start line in the morning, But, if you’ve missed out, we’ll be back on Sunday 9 May 2027!!!
