Yoga for trauma can be so helpful. Scroll for just some of the ways…

I was asked today what my aims are when teaching, for example am I aiming to increase strength and flexibility.

Not really.

My classes aim to reduce feelings of stress & anxiety, enhance mood, improve sleep, reduce body tension & pain, reduce mental chatter, and increase mental resilience.

If flexibility improves that's a nice bonus.

My career before yoga teacher was in psychology and mental health. That will always be my first love 🤍

Monday evening’s class is generally fully booked with people unable to get a spot, so I have added another evening class beginning after half term.

Thursday 6.30-7.45pm
Starting 26th February

I've only been open 3 weeks. To have full classes, however small, is unexpected.

Thank you so much for supporting my space and my small business ❤️

As a reminder of one of my favourite quotes: ‘If the promise of yoga on mental health was found in a drug, it would be the best selling medication world wide'

Yoga is not about stretching or flexibility. It's about supporting our body and mind to stay balanced and resilient in a world full of trauma, disorder, and chaos. It is about the mind, always has been.

One of the things I really wanted in the studio was natural lighting.

Grateful, always

Hurry sickness. It’s everywhere, often normalised, sometimes revered.
