2nd Tonbridge Boys Brigade Fundraiser

For anyone wanting to follow the BB national football finals, 2nd Carrickfergus Boys Brigade will be streaming our matches on Facebook, any time now.

The football marathon is complete! We played for a bit over 7 hours, and scored around 200 goals. We received £103.80 towards our football trip and Porchlight, the homeless charity. Well done boys!

Top scorer in the youth section was Dominic "Iwobi" Coy, followed by Josh "Yekoms" Bacon and Jamie "Smalldini" Blundell. Special thanks to Helen who helped supervise the younger group, collected the money and chalked up the scores.

The football marathon is well underway, the juniors have played for 2 hours, with "Hazza" Dalton top-scoring and the penalty kick competitions won by "Hazard" Joe Smith, "Gunner J" Scudds and "Brick Wall" Mitchell. The youth age are now on.

2nd Tonbridge have reached another national final, this time in Northern Ireland! Well done to the boys, who came second in the English region final on Saturday. Watch this space for another fundraiser.

Dear all, thanks for your support - we slightly exceeded our fundraising target of £900, thanks to many generous people. Now we need to see if we can qualify for next year's finals - Northern Ireland here we come!

Adults played for 3 hours (if you include 2 hours watching England and eating curry!) with "Bobby B" Blundell top scoring on 11 and "John" Salako making 6.

Teenagers played for 5 hours non-stop, with "Kevin" Smith (32) and Smokey Bacon (26) top-scoring.

Junior age group played for 2 hours non-stop, with Hazza Dalton (18) and Lleytondinho (16) top-scoring. We also had 3 penalty kick competitions, which were won by Dominic "Peter" Crouch (2) and Bella "Always" Wright. Well played to all who took part.
