It is with regret that due to Wales moving into Tier 4 the Refail Runners club activities will be suspended until further information from the Welsh Assembly.
This means that we will not have the opportunity to get together before Christmas and the New year.
Thank you to all our members who have supported the club and their fellow runners during the difficulties of 2020. You are an amazing, supportive bunch, friendly and welcoming, we are proud of each and everyone of you!

On Sunday October 11th Builth and District Running Club are setting the challenge of our 15 hour relay again.
How many miles can your club cover between 5am and 8pm?
One runner at any time and if you have a gap in your schedule you dont get any distance for that gap.
Last time we had 58 teams who covered over 6000 miles.
Free to enter and it's a great team bonding event.

The guidelines are very simple. First runner starts at 5am and last runner finishes at 8pm. Each runner can run for as long as they want but only one runner can run at any one time. Almost like carrying a virtual baton.
You build a squad and send us your squad list with their running times on the Saturday afternoon. If you have any gaps in your timetable then you dont get any distance for those gaps.
People start at their exact start time and finish at their exact finish time and record their runs on garmin / strava etc and the team captain puts them all together to calculate the total distance ran over the 15 hours.
The only guideline we ask is that you dont just run down a big hill for your run.
Keep it fair, keep it fun.

Who needs a virtual run for September? This charity is run by some some lovely local ladies. They have managed to raise enough to put solar panels on the roof of the school so that they aren't ripped off by the corrupt officials working for the energy firms. Now they need to replace the school bus so that they can help more kids in the area.
