Update on Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) Availability

We are aware of the recent media attention surrounding Mounjaro (tirzepatide), a new medication used for managing type 2 diabetes and aiding in weight loss.

Currently, Mounjaro is not available for prescribing in our area, as it has not yet been approved for use by NHS Devon. Once approved, strict national prescribing criteria will apply, meaning it may not be suitable or accessible for all patients.

We kindly ask that patients refrain from contacting the surgery to request prescriptions or appointments related to Mounjaro at this time.

We will share any updates as soon as local prescribing guidance changes. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The Covid Vaccination Service at the Riviera Centre will be closed on Monday 19th September, for the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II. All appointments for that day have been cancelled.
