It’s been a busy few weeks for the squad since we moved from our regular training slot to our now twice weekly sessions on the grass. We had the privilege of training at plainmoor and then we had the honour of welcoming club legend Robbie Herrera take the boys for a session.

What a way to finish the season. Firstly having the trophy presented to the group by club legend Robbie Herrera and then yesterday, being able to do a lap of honour infront of the best fans in the world, which was then topped off by a win for the men. One more to go ⚽️💛💙

A week after getting presented with the winter league winners trophy, the boys were given the opportunity to celebrate their fantastic achievement with the Torquay United fans. They took to the pitch at half time to parade the trophy and were given an amazing reception by the home fans creating memories that will last forever. These boys work so hard, week in, week out, playing for a club they love so it was a real pleasure to see them get the applause they deserved. We will always be grateful to Torquay United AFC and to all the fans that made their day so special.

U11s Boys - Performance of the day🙌
A fantastic effort from our U11s today as they travelled to Bristol for their JPL play off fixture against a strong, well organised Dragons Football Academy side.
Playing in tough, windy conditions, the boys showed real character and teamwork throughout. Going into the final quarter with the wind against us, they dug deep and produced their best football of the game. A brilliant display of determination, resilience, and quality.
A well earned victory and another big step closer to St George’s Park for this outstanding group - Fully deserved👏

Torquay United U10 Gulls were involved in a great-spirited match against a highly motivated Saints Devon U9 side.
Both teams approached the game with excellent attitude and intensity, making for an enjoyable and competitive fixture throughout.
Saints Devon played some very good football and tested Torquay at every opportunity, but the Gulls showed real resilience and composure to come out on top. By digging deep, keeping the ball moving, and supporting one another, Torquay were able to gain the edge.
The focus for the match was to maintain possession for as long as possible and to keep our shape through the thirds, and the players carried out these instructions superbly. The team moved the ball well, worked hard off it, and showed great understanding of their roles.
There were excellent individual performances across the pitch, with Stanley winning Parents’ Player of the Match 🏆 after a fantastic all-round display, capped off with an impressive hat-trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️.
Jackson also put in a standout performance and was deservedly awarded Coach’s Player of the Match 🏆scoring the crucial goal ⚽️ that kept Torquay in the lead.
This was another strong step forward for the squad, who are clearly starting to build momentum as a team.
Well done, The Gulls! 💛
