Autumnโฆ ๐ค
Fridayโs workshop marked two years since I started the Wheel of the Year Workshops. When I think back to my younger self holding that first workshop, I remember the overwhelming anxiety and imposter syndrome.
But I pushed it back and stayed close to my intentionโฆ to create spaces where we can feel more at ease with the flow of the seasons; to feel empowered by our capacity for change, for expansion and contraction.
As I held this workshop, I reflected on my occupational therapy practice, and how vital it is to nurture the WHOLE self. To honour the dark and the light; both within and in nature.
We wouldnโt know joy without pain, or experience light without the shadows.
So yesterday as we welcomed equal day and equal night, I sat with my younger self and we celebrated the cycles of change over the past two yearsโฆ. The sticky darkness, the colourful joys, and the neutral moments in between.
All of it. Every season. Inside and out.
Happy Autumn Equinox friends,
May it remind you of your wholeness ###x
