Sunday morning football! There’s no better place to be! 💙⚽️

A great friendly, actually two friendlies, against KM Utd Blacks today and another really useful opportunity for the boys to play, learn and get plenty of minutes on the pitch.

We played both 7v7 and 9v9 formats, which gave us the chance to mix things up, try players in different positions and keep building their experience.

Some really good football played, some great goals and plenty of positives to take away! 👏

A brilliant effort at both ends of the pitch and capped it off with an absolute rocket of a goal! 🚀

Excellent again, worked hard throughout and scored a very good goal.

🏆 Coaches POTM - Ben
Did loads of work for the team, tracking back defensively and linking the play really well going forward.

A brilliant morning at Foxhole as the boys picked up their first DJM win! 👏

A fantastic team performance against a strong Tamerton side, with every player playing their part and plenty of positives to take away.

There’s still lots for us to learn and improve on as we continue adapting to 9v9 football, which is exactly what we want - to win and still know there’s plenty more to come! 💪⚽️

A close vote after another hardworking performance, with his persistence rewarded with a brilliant goal right at the end of the game 👏

A dominant and assured performance from Brick Wall Sam! A brilliant goal-line clearance early on and some fantastic defending throughout the game 🧱

🏆 Coaches POTM - Kai
Excellent with and without the ball and made good decisions throughout. One huge recovery run and perfectly timed tackle at a crucial moment summed up his performance 💪

Captain for the day and another excellent all-round performance, capped off with a goal 💙

A big weekend ahead for the Titans! 💙⚽️

Saturday sees us at home at Foxhole for another DJM league challenge as we welcome a very good Tamerton Foliot.

We’re really looking forward to this one. Tamerton are a great team, with great coaches and friendly supportive parents. It’s going to be a cracker! 💥

It’s also another opportunity for the boys to keep learning, developing and gaining experience in the 9v9 game 💪⚽️

Come along and support the team! 💙⚽️

Teas and coffees will be available throughout the morning ☕️ and after the final whistle, we’ll welcome both sets of players into the clubhouse for hot dogs 🌭

Then on Sunday we’re back on the road as we head to Plympton Academy for a friendly against our friends at KM Utd Blacks. This game will give both sets of players a good test and opportunity to play football the right way.

Two games. Two different challenges. Another weekend full of football and opportunities to learn, develop and for the boys to have fun with their mates 😃

WHAT A GAME OF FOOTBALL! 💙⚽️🔥

Incredible way to open the PYL season and another fantastic game between the Titans and Buckland Yellows this morning! 👏

Two technically brilliant teams, loads of quality on the ball, chances, tackles, hard work and two groups of players giving absolutely everything for their teammates.

There’s so much planning and preparation that goes into youth football, but games like today are a great reminder to enjoy the moments along the way 💙

So proud of every single Titan today. The quality of our football at times was outstanding, the togetherness in the squad and just as pleasing is the work rate, effort and determination when we didn’t have the ball.

Special mentions to today’s POTM award winners:

🏆 Coaches POTM - Isaac
An outstanding performance. Calm and composed in possession, tactically excellent and an incredible work rate for the team from start to finish 💪🥵

🏆 Parents POTM - Mylo
What a league debut! Brilliant link-up play, worked tirelessly for his teammates and showed real quality on the ball and in front of goal 👏⚽️

🏆 Players POTM - Fred
A performance full of quality, creativity and determination. Being recognised by his teammates in a game where the whole team excelled makes this one extra special 💯💙

Huge credit to Buckland Yellows for another brilliant game of football and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again later in the season. Great team 👏💛

DJM Saturday Match Result

Titans 1-3 Plymstock Utd Juniors

Not the result we wanted from our first DJM game, but incredibly proud of the character and effort shown by every single Titan today. 💙

They’re such a brilliant group of lads who work incredibly hard for each other, stick together when things get tough and never stop giving everything they’ve got.

There’s plenty for us to learn from today, both individually and as a team, but that’s exactly what these experiences are for. We’ll keep working, keep developing and come back stronger. 💪⚽️

A special mention for Bertie, who was absolutely outstanding in goal. Some brilliant saves, some incredibly brave ones and a performance recognised by players, parents and coaches alike - taking home all three POTM awards! 🏆🏆🏆👏

After the game, our captain for the day Fred was also presented with a special award recognising an amazing achievement over the summer.

Fred completed the Three Peaks Challenge and raised more than £700 for the team, which will go towards days out and experiences for the boys throughout the season. An incredible effort and something we’re all very proud of! 👏💙

There’s a long season ahead, lots of football to be played and plenty more to come! ⚽️💪🔥

A big weekend ahead for the Titans as our 2026/27 season gets underway!

Saturday sees us play our first official 9v9 game as we begin our DJM journey against Plymstock Utd Juniors.

A new format, new challenges and plenty for the boys to experience and learn from. 💪⚽️

Then on Sunday… a Super Sunday blockbuster against Buckland Yellows!

Always a fantastic game of football between two brilliant groups of boys and one we’re really looking forward to. 👀🔥

Two games. Two different challenges. Loads of football.

The wait is over. The season starts here…
