On Saturday 5th September 2026, Spurs announced that they were reintroducing memberships to their Hall of Fame. The new inductees were Chris Hughton, Lesley King, Jenna Schillaci and Bobby Buckle who is to be number one.
The inductees were presented with a medal on the pitch, on 19 September 2026. Bobby’s medal was collected by Trina Nichols, the youngest granddaughter.
Michael Mackman, Bobby’s youngest grandson had previously recorded an interview. https://spurs.scoreplay.io/link?id=365326&token=f7d482b7-9335-44bb-949d-7b4ef30d9dbc

Last night there was an event at the stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame, Class of 2026 induction event and re-launch on Monday 21st September, 17:30 – 22:00.
The evening formally re-launches the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame, bringing together inductees, family representatives, Club leadership, and supporters. It is designed as a premium, warm and inclusive celebration of the people who have shaped the Club on and off the pitch, while renewing the Club’s commitment to recognising outstanding contributions across generations.
The Hall of Fame re-launch celebrates Tottenham Hotspur’s rich footballing heritage and recognises exceptional contributions throughout the Club’s history
The Hall of Fame was first launched in 2004, with 45 of the Club’s greatest former players and managers inducted over the next 12 years. Following the closure of White Hart Lane in 2017 and the transition to our new home, the initiative was paused
The refreshed approach, prompted by discussions with our Fan Advisory Board, is deliberately inclusive, spanning men’s and women’s football, different eras, players, managers and significant off-pitch contributions.
Our new inductees for 2026 – Bobby Buckle, Chris Hughton, Jenna Schillaci and Ledley King - will receive recognition, alongside tributes to existing inductees and the families of those no longer with us
The permanent Hall of Fame wall installation gives the programme a visible, enduring presence within the stadium
Filmed coverage will extend the celebration beyond the room to the wider fanbase

Fantastic news has just been announced by the Club.

On the 144th anniversary of the Club's founding, we start at the beginning for the first inductee into our re-launched Hall of Fame.

It was on this day (5th September 1882) a 144 years ago, that a group of Tottenham teenage schoolboys decided to start a football team.
Most of the boys played cricket for Hotspur CC. Bobby Buckle with John Thompson and Hamilton Casey collected the boy’s names on the corner of Park Lane and the High Road at a gas lamp. Since that day the club has continuously played football in Tottenham within half mile of where the Club currently play.
We would like to thank all of those boys for creating our football club and those that have followed those pioneers over the years.

Thanks to John Chambers for colour photo of Bobby Buckle.

Team BOBBY BUCKLE enjoyed a fabulous night at the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust SPURS QUIZ hosted by the Antwerp Arms. However, after being joint 1st at halftime, our Team ended up 4th. Should have asked for a recount🤣 Having been at Wembley 45 years ago celebrating that famous FA Cup win, it seemed surreal standing together with Ossie & Ricky. That made our Quiz result a little more bearable! Will be back next year to take the number one spot, hopefully. Thanks to Rachel Martin, Roy Beck, Theo Delaney and all the crew for a great time and a very worthy cause in STUDIO 306 🐓
