Reasons you’re not losing weight in a calorie deficit 👇🏻

1️⃣ You aren’t actually in a calorie deficit. Most people forget to track the hidden calories like oils, sauces, dressing, drinks etc.

2️⃣ Water retention. High sodium intake, poor sleep, high stress levels and an increase in exercise can all cause weight fluctuations.

3️⃣ The weighing scales won’t drop every day but that doesn’t mean you aren’t making progress. Take progress pictures and focus on how you are feeling.

4️⃣ Your calories output may not be as high as you think. It might be time to start making small changes to your everyday life. Start taking the stairs, not the lift. Walk to the shops, don’t drive. These small changes make a big difference.

Aim for progress, not perfection!
