Come compare data with me - my 4 months progress
If your personal trainer is chucking you on the scales every week and sighing because the number hasn’t gone down, maybe it’s time to find a new ‘professional’ because that isn’t how we do things round here 📚
Let’s be blunt, simply using your weight to determine your fitness progress is a bu****it way of tracking. There is SO much more to the human body than how much it weighs, and these slides prove it.
They also disprove the myth of ‘heavy lifting makes you bulky’ as I’ve literally lost weight whilst putting on muscle. It’s not about chucking a load of weight on and saying you’ve gained muscle, it what the weight is made up of.
It’s also important to remember your OWN goals, my goals have shifted from weight loss to building muscle, getting stronger and being healthier. Of course along side normal life of work, running a house and looking after two toddlers 👶🏼👶🏼
So, all in all I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made this year, when to be honest I’ve been more mum than fitness fanatic lately 🏋️♀️ so making the gym opportunities I have had more efficient, heavier lifting and daily changes I’ve made rather than the hours spent in the gym ⏰
I’ve got a few things in the pipeline I’m SO EXCITED to talk about but aren’t quite ready yet… so WATCH THIS SPACE 👀😜😍
