The most DELICIOUS protein balls I've ever made!...and probably the fastest!
Recipe below ๐
I'm the kind of person that always needs snacks on hand, whether I'm at home or out and about so to make sure I don't grab something unhealthy I make things like this that are full of nutrients and still have some chocolate in there somewhere ๐
๐งIngredients:๐ง
*makes 8 balls
๐งDates - 150g
๐งOats (I used gluten free) - 0.5 cup
๐งDesiccated coconut - 0.25 cups
๐งProtein powder - 1 scoop (I have Huel - Chocolate fudge brownie)
๐งDark chocolate - 50g (melted, for drizzling over the top)
๐Method:
- Mix everything together in a blender and mould into 8 balls.
- Melt the dark chocolate by putting it in a bowl and let it float in a bowl of boiling water. Drizzle it over the top and pop them in the fridge to set
DONE!

Well alrighty then!!
You might prefer your rainbow veg completely raw or maybe thoroughly slow roasted! In our house we benefit from a bit of both so that everyone wins so this lunch yesterday really hit the spot.

Ok, letโs get back on track!
Iโve had the most amazing birthday weekend thanks to my incredible family and partner. Iโm absolutely bursting with love and gratitude ๐๐ซถ๐ป๐
I donโt regret a single second of my food or drink choices because Iโve spent a long time building a positive relationship with food and finding that sweet balance. Pizza and champagne was my diet for the last 3 days and I havenโt been active since Friday. (If you donโt count GoApe ๐)
You CAN enjoy a healthy life by eating the right foods for you and the ones you want but itโs getting the ratios right thatโs important.
Iโll be joining those of you on the 30 Day Challenge (started yesterday - 19th Sept) which includes consistency with workouts and cleaner eating in quantities and at times that benefit my body and mind!!
Why just plod through life when you can THRIVE!! ๐๐ผ
