🐮 WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK? 🐮

A big final week of this season for Turriff RFC!

Fun Touch is on again on Thursday at our pitch from 7-8:30pm. All aged P1+ welcome 🤗

Then our minis and micros have their final festival of the year at Fraserburgh RFC on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing them all in action again 👏

And then we finish off the season with our Club Awards on Saturday night, with the kids’ awards from 6pm followed by our buffet and senior’s awards. Hosted once again by the fantastic Banff Springs Hotel.

🐮 S1-4 COME + TRY SESSIONS 🐮

Our three week block of come and try sessions came to an end this morning, rounding off three fantastic sessions of fun! 🤩

It’s been a dream of ours ever since the first minis and micros sessions in 2024 to keep building and create sections at the club for all, from P1 right up to senior rugby.

We can now proudly say that with a lot of hard work and dedication from volunteers, coaches and players we have a direct player pathway at Turriff RFC! 🩷🩶

Huge thank you to everyone involved in making these sessions happen and a huge shout out to these kids (minus a few who couldn’t make it today) who have put in 100% effort in all three sessions. Hopefully some future senior Turriff RFC players here who will continue to develop both as players and people over the coming years.

We are so excited to see this section continue to grow and even hopefully have some youth players out playing in games in the 2026/27 season.

This morning we have the last of our S1-4 Come and Try sessions. Looking like a lovely day for it, perfect chance to come give rugby a go ☀️🏉

🐮 YOUTH RUGBY (S1-4) 🐮

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that we will be hosting FREE Come and Try Sessions for those aged S1-4 for three Sunday’s in June! 🤩

We first started our P1-7 sessions in 2024 and have been growing since, and now find ourselves in a position where we have players moving up to academy age with no Turriff RFC Youth Section. Thanks to a great uptake in new coaches, this is about to change!

These sessions will run on Sunday mornings alongside our minis and micros, at our pitch at The Showground from 10-11:30am. After the summer holidays, we will look to host weekly sessions at our pitch for players in this age group to join the club and continue their rugby journey. 🙌

Summer Touch is on tonight! 🤩

🐮 SUMMER TOUCH RUGBY RETURNS 🐮

We’ve enjoyed a wee break after the end of a busy 2025/26 season, and now it’s time to ease our way back into it with the return of our Summer Touch Rugby ☀️

Every Thursday in June, at our pitch at The Haughs from 7pm-8:30pm.

All ages and abilities welcome, these sessions are purely about having a laugh and being with our rugby pals. Great banter and sometimes even some great rugby on show too…🫢

🐮 WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK? 🐮

Summer Touch continues this week down at our pitch on Thursday, 7-8:30pm. ☀️

Our minis and micros are travelling along to a joint training session with Fraserburgh Rugby Club on Saturday - great opportunity for some rugby fun! 🤩 NO MINIS AND MICROS ON SUNDAY.

Then our S1-4 Come + Try Session finishes off the week on Sunday. This is our LAST of the Come + Try sessions (already!! 🥲) for this age group and the effort has been brilliant so far.

🐮 YOUTH RUGBY 🐮

Another brilliant morning for our 2nd S1-4 Come + Try session 🤩

We’ve also been using these sessions as a transition for our P7’s to move into academy rugby. Great turnout last week and today and it has been absolutely fantastic to see some faces back at the club who had previously graduated from minis and micros 🩷🩶

Today we got stuck in to some tackling and introduction to the breakdown, followed by some mixed touch and a kicking competition to finish. Loved the competitive spirit from everyone!!

Next Sunday (21st) is our third and final come and try session before we break for summer. If you’ve got a child who’d like to come and give rugby a go, send us a message and we can let you know the details.

Here’s the plans for the upcoming week at Turriff RFC 😎

After the rain ruined all plans of Summer Touch last Thursday, we’re looking good for returning this Thursday. All ages and abilities welcome for some fun!

Then on Sunday our minis and micros are training at The Haughs as usual. 🩷

Alongside them is our second S1-4 Come and Try session - we had a brilliant session Sunday past and are already looking forward to this weekend 🩶

🐮 TOUGH MUDDER 2026 🐮

A wee group of our ladies took on the challenge of the 2026 Tough Mudder UK and absolutely SMASHED it 💥

A huge physical and mental challenge embraced by them all, with plenty of laughs and brilliant teamwork along the way. In true Turra Coo fashion 😎
