Weβve been doing rugby based warm ups, workouts and finishers all month. And we were there at Twickenham to witness the sell out crowd and a brilliant day of fantastic rugby.
And celebrated this morning! πππ
Many congratulations to !

On the whole this is not great news....
However, more research is now being done on women and it may be that women can get a stronger mortality rate reduction from exercise than men.
This means that we don't need to do as much to benefit from exercise! Yay!
So if you struggle to get exercise in, then don't think that it has to be an hour slog or 30-45 mins of super hard work or it's not worth doing. It IS worth doing, even if it's just 10 mins!
Of course more is better but anything is better than nothing. EVERYTHING will make a difference to your health and reduce the risk of what the medical peeps call Major Cardiac Events.
So just get out there and do SOMETHING for as long as you have time/energy for.

BUSTING BARRIERS TO EXERCISE FOR WOMEN
Having a low mood and anxiety can be crippling, at any time of life. Add in Peri Menopause and it can go through the roof. Even if you've never struggled with it before.
π₯οΈ The good news is that you don't need to leave the comfort of your own home to get a workout. There are many videos online that you can do on demand, on your own.
πͺ And the benefits of exercise on our mental health is very positive. So much so, you may even after a while feel ready to get outside and join in a class. Exercising outdoors is extremely good for mental health.
π§©Here we have a picture of our bootcampers doing a jigsaw puzzle. Have you ever tried to do a jigsaw while holding a plank? And then trying to complete it before the other team get back from their run? You wont be focussed on your anxiety.....π And the group are super supportive of new members.
π±We have online live stream classes as well as face to face so you can still train in your own home if you are more comfortable with that.

π³ If this is still a bit of a leap for you, a walk outside, even for 10 mins, can lift your mood. A few mins stretching is a good start too, Start where you are and see if you can, in baby steps, work up to a regular habit of exercise. Good luck!
