Thanks to all from Twickenham Cycling Club -TCC for turning out for the annual hill climb. Perfect weather and some great times. Well done everyone.

Another year, another Dave Peck Memorial race - it was a bit chilly Dave Peck - can you send more sunshine next year please?! It was another successful event which I couldn't do without all my fabulous helpers at Twickenham Cycling Club -TCC (27 volunteers), the NEG motorbikes, my brilliant (and calm) Comms Steven Green and Steve Giles, the Accredited Marshals organised by Lucie Gallen and Gary Nixon, my neutral service cars Caroline Stewart and Brent Skinner, Martin Foster and his electronic timing providing live online placing updates from 3 checkpoints around the course, my First Aid (Medical Despatch), and my BWTC social media live reporting team Trevor Hill and Alice Lethbridge. Good news, our two skills sessions at Hillingdon are now live on RiderHQ so please get your entries in as soon as possible as there are a limited number of places available and the sessions are also open to non-TCC members.

Twickenham CC members will need to sign-up for these sessions in the same way as any other rider but will receive a full refund of the £25 entry fee at the sign-on desk on the day.

Riders can expect to cover around 80km-100km during the session, some of which will be high intensity, so a great workout and more structured than just going for a ride!

Both sessions will be led by Mark Adams and supported by Mark Wyre, both very experienced British Cycling Coaches who have worked with riders of all abilities from identifying talent in schools and clubs to leading training sessions with international squads and working with the British teams across road, time trial and track disciplines.

If you are thinking of trying road racing this year these sessions are a must because the curriculum covers all the essential elements you need to obtain your Surrey League Accreditation. This Accreditation is mandatory for 4th Cat Riders who wish to race in Surrey League events. Riders must attend two sessions in total with approved providers to obtain your Surrey League Accreditation and we are pleased to confirm these sessions are both accreditation sessions.
