A handful of lucky Team Richmond athletes were invited to the TeamGB and ParalympicGB homecoming celebrations in Trafalgar Square yesterday.

Members of the victorious London Youth Games Regatta squad had the opportunity to meet some of the stars of Rio 2016, with plenty of autographs and selfies on offer throughout the day!

It was an inspiring day for the young athletes and they will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of LYG alumni of the past, such as Mo Farah, Sir Bradley Wiggins and Dina Asher Smith. Not to mention Richard Hounslow and David Weir!

A great day of celebrations in London!
