What’s your deeper why?

Not the surface-level answer like
“I want to lose weight” or
“I want to get fitter…”

But the real reason underneath it all.

The reason that actually *means something* to you.

Because when motivation fades (and it will),
it’s not your goals that keep you going…
it’s your connection to *why they matter*.

✨ More energy to enjoy your life
✨ Confidence to feel comfortable in yourself
✨ Being present for your family
✨ Feeling strong, capable, and in control again

When your goals are tied to emotion, identity, and values…
consistency stops feeling forced.

It becomes something you *care about*.

Something you *choose*, even on the hard days.

So take a moment and ask yourself:

Why does this really matter to me?
Who am I becoming through this?

Because the stronger your “why”…
the easier it becomes to keep showing up 🤍

Healthy habits don’t have to look perfect. they just have to work for you.

This week I prepped a big salad to have on hand for easy lunches, and made some yummy cookies. sustainable healthy eating isn’t about restriction, it’s about building systems that fit around your real life.

When you have nourishing food ready to go, you’re not relying on willpower, you’re just making the easy choice the good one.

That’s what I help my clients do. Not follow a rigid plan, but create a way of eating that actually sticks.

What does your food prep look like? Drop it in the comments 👇

Most people struggling to lose weight aren’t lazy or undisciplined, they’re stuck in habits that are quietly working against them.

Some of these might even feel like healthy choices. Low fat foods. Skipping meals. Cutting out sugar. But the reality is, they could be the exact things keeping the scale from moving.

As a health coach, these are the patterns I see time and time again. And the moment clients become aware of them, everything starts to shift.

Have a scroll through and see how many resonate with you.

If you recognise yourself, it’s your habits that are causing the problem, which is good news because habits can be changed!

Let’s talk morning routines ☀️

Your morning sets the tone for everything that follows.

A good morning routine isn’t about perfection. it’s about intention. It gives you space to wake up your mind, fuel your body, and start your day with purpose instead of pressure.

When you take even 10–20 minutes for yourself, whether it’s stretching, journaling, or just enjoying your coffee in peace. you’re choosing clarity over chaos.

Small habits. Big impact.
Own your morning, own your day. ✨

Healthy choices don’t happen by accident, they happen by preparation.

When life gets busy, it’s easy to reach for whatever’s quick (and usually not the best for your energy or goals). That’s where snack prep comes in.

By taking a little time each week to prepare nourishing snacks, you:
✔️ Keep your blood sugar stable
✔️ Avoid impulsive, less healthy choices
✔️ Support your metabolism and energy levels
✔️ Stay consistent with your goals even on your busiest days

Think: chopped veggies, protein-packed bites, fresh fruit, nuts, or homemade options you actually enjoy. Simple, ready, and waiting for you.

Set yourself up for success and your future self will thank you.

I want to talk about something that MIGHT sound contradictory at first.

Why I steer women away from scale obsession… yet I weigh myself almost every day.

Let me explain:

Once upon a time, when I was training for the Olympics, the number on the scale defined me.

My mood, my confidence, how I treated my body was all dictated by that number.

It damaged my mental health and completely distorted my relationship with my body.

BUT when I started prioritising my PCOS and my recovery, I ditched the scales altogether.

Instead, I learned to listen to my body, understand my hormones, my cycle, and my patterns.

Fast forward to now. I understand my body deeply.

Even with an irregular cycle, I can almost predict how I’ll feel, because I know my patterns.

The difference?

The number no longer holds emotional power.

I now use the scale as neutral data. Just one piece of information that helps me notice patterns. I know when it’s likely to go up. I know when it’s likely to go down.

And it doesn’t define my worth, my health, or how I feel about myself.

That’s why I weigh myself ALMOST daily.

If I wake up feeling emotionally fragile, stressed, or vulnerable. I don’t step on.

Because I am not defined by that number, and I refuse to let it control my emotions again.

Are you a woman with PCOS and getting annoyed by your loud cravings? Giving in to cravings or having cravings aren't anything to do with a lack of willpower. It's your body communicating with you.

If you’ve ever felt like cravings completely take over…
Like you spend all day resisting them, only to give in and feel guilty later, you are not failing.

With PCOS, cravings are often driven by:
• Blood sugar instability
• Hormonal shifts across your cycle
• Stress & nervous system overload
• Restriction (even subtle “good vs bad” food rules)

The problem isn’t the craving.
The problem is fighting your body instead of understanding it.

When I stopped restricting…
When I learned how my cycle actually works…
When I understood why cravings show up, everything changed.

Cravings became quieter.

And when they did show up, I met them with compassion instead of control.

Understanding creates compassion.
Compassion builds trust.

And trust is where real, sustainable change happens.

I’ll be going live tomorrow inside my Facebook community to break this down properly:
✔ why PCOS cravings happen
✔ what makes them worse
✔ and how to work with your body instead of against it

If you want to feel more in control without restriction or punishment, come and join us 🤍

I tried to change my body for others, and lost myself in the process.
I spent years in a sport that made me believe my body was the problem. I pushed, punished, and starved myself trying to fit the mould, without knowing I had PCOS.

My cycles were irregular, my weight fluctuated, and no matter how disciplined I was, my body never behaved the way coaches expected.

And when I finally lost the weight everyone talked about?

Those same people said I’d gone too far.

Yet I still became third on the All-Time List and represented my country twice.

That’s when I realised the problem was never my body. It was the lack of understanding around it.

Once I learned how PCOS worked, everything changed. I stopped fighting myself and started supporting myself.

When you fixate on the result, you forget what you learn on the journey.

The answers you’re searching for aren’t in “fixing” your body, they’re in understanding it.

You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.

Trust the process. Honour your body. Lead with kindness and compassion.

Especially toward yourself.
