A winning weekend for Sleaford Barge ❤️💙 Two wins for our U14 teams on Saturday. And a win for the seniors in the Regional League on Sunday!

Sunday match days are back 🤩 Our county team were back in action today against a strong Washingborough side. So proud of the ladies putting out a solid team performance after over a year off the court!! 💙❤️

And we are back 🤩 Our seniors returned to netball training on Thursday evening - and spent some time getting reacquainted with throwing a ball and thinking about the modifications to the game 🧠 Lots of smiles ✅ Lots of laughs ✅ Lots of ideas ✅ Lots of anti-bac ✅

Netballs back... well almost, in some form... So exciting to read England Netball plan for return to netball and to be able to throw a netball around again. Whatever our ‘new normal’ looks like - we are excited to get back to the sport we love in some form. And to celebrate, we got ourselves an Instagram page. BREAKING NEWS: Government gives netball the green light to progress to stage 4 of revised community Roadmap 🚦

Netballers across the country can now reunite to participate in a modified version of the game once all risk mitigations are put in place 🥳

Plus, from 26 September, stage 4b of the Roadmap will be unlocked, meaning leagues and competitions will be able to recommence 🗓️

The moment we have all been waiting for... training resumes 💪 In line with England Netball guidance, we will resume training this Thursday. Fitness and fun planned ✅

Our new committee are busy preparing for what our 20/21 might look like and our senior coaches are busy planning all the socially distanced netball activities we can undertake when training resumes in August 💪

Our new committee are working hard behind the scenes to make our return to netball as safe as possible, in line with guidance from England Netball. Watch this space ❤️💪💙

A massive well done to Saffron for being awarded Most Improved Player for the U17 Loughborough Lightning Worksop Hub 💜⚡️

To all of our players that have been part of the Loughborough Lightning Hubs and County Pathway - a huge well done and thank you for your commitment this season. You have done yourselves very proud and achieved so much 💪

Weeks 2 and 3 of our programme flew by! Lots of different activities including running 🏃🏻‍♀️, a netball quiz 🏀, yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️, HIIT 🥵 and netball master chef 🍕A big thank you to all of our members participating from the juniors through to seniors, and partners, kids and pets getting involved too! A special mention to Lizzi for her amazing work and progress so far, and for getting the family involved, including her own resident coach pictured below 🐶 Roll on week 4 💪💙❤️

Week 1 of our Kickstart Back To Netball programme has been amazing! So many getting involved with the different challenges set - can’t wait to get back on that court 👊🏼💙❤️ 💸🤑

We have such a talented junior section in our club that we’re all very proud of 🤩

Sleaford Barge Netball U16s shine at regional play-offs Sleaford Barge Netball Club’s under 16s squad travelled to Loughborough University earlier this month to play in the regional play-offs.
