Here's a simple reminder that sometimes the best way to come home to yourself is to step outside, breathe deeply, and move with the land beneath you.

There’s something about being on a hill at the start of the day that shifts everything:
The body softens,
The mind clears, and
The nervous system remembers what calm feels like.

Today was one of those mornings.

Grateful for the fresh air, the view, and the chance to practise in a place that invites perspective, presence, and spaciousness.

Yoga really is everywhere 🌞

We spend so much of our lives answering the question “what do you do?. And, slowly, without realising, we start believing that’s who we are.

Job titles, roles, achievements… they become our identity.

But beneath all of that, there’s a deeper truth.

You are not your job, your productivity, or how others define you.

You are awareness, presence, energy, something far more expansive than any label.

This is your reminder to come back to who you truly are; beyond the doing, beyond the noise

And if and when you need...remind yourself

💛 I trust myself
💛 I am enough

Saw The Anti Yogi at Soho Theatre over the weekend… and wow, it didn’t hold back!

It pokes at the underbelly of the wellness world 👉🏻 the ego, the performance, the quiet contradictions we don’t always want to look at. And honestly? It hit.

As someone who teaches and lives this work, there were moments I felt called out… and moments I found myself nodding along thinking “yeah, we need to talk about this more.”

Because somewhere between the incense, the Instagram quotes, and the idea of being “healed”… it’s easy to lose the point.

Yoga was never meant to be aesthetic.
Or perfect.
Or even comfortable.

It’s awareness.
It’s truth.
It’s sitting with the parts of ourselves that don’t quite fit the brand.

They also invited us all to stay after the show for a live q&a. I'm glad I stayed. Still unpacking it all, but here for anything that disrupts the illusion and invites a bit more honesty into the space 🌱

Thank you for a truly engaging, funny, emotional, and thought-provoking show. Looking forward to show 2 & 3 💛

⚠️Work in progress! This isn’t a one-time shift - it’s a daily practice. It’s taken me years of healing, self-discovery, and learning to truly embrace who I am… and I’m still working on it.

I’m no longer willing to shrink myself just to hope an outcome changes.

Some days I catch myself slipping back into old patterns.
Other days, I’m rooted, grounded, and choosing myself - even when things don’t go as planned.

That’s how I landed my new job...by showing up authentically, not perfectly.

That’s how I show up in my relationships — honest, present, and true to who I’m becoming.

It means some things won’t choose me back.
But I’m learning not to lose myself in the process anymore.
And that’s the real win..not the outcome itself, but the practice of coming back to myself again and again.

If you’re also in the middle of this journey (where choosing yourself still feels hard sometimes) know you’re not alone.
This is a work in progress, just like you.

Reset in 30 seconds with 4‑4‑8 Grounding Breath
How? 👇🏻
1️⃣Place one hand on your belly and one your heart.
2️⃣Inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 8.
3️⃣Repeat 3 times.

Notice your shoulders drop, your jaw soften, and the space between thoughts widen.

This simple breath lengthens the exhale to cue your nervous system that you’re safe

No special equipment, just your body and a few calm breaths.

We're back! This morning’s Yoga Up St Catherine’s Hill felt extra special 🤍
There was something powerful about gathering for our first 2026 session: walking up together, feeling the wind move around us, and letting nature guide the pace of our breath and bodies.

The hill held us, the breeze woke us up, and the shared energy of the group made it all the more grounding.

It’s never just about yoga as such...It s way more… it’s the connection.
To yourself, to others, to the elements.

We closed, as always, with a gentle walk down and a cosy cuppa at for those who stayed ; simple and powerful moments - the ones that stay with you ☕

Always so grateful for for allowing us to practise in this beautiful space 🙏🏻
