Many thanks to Rob Egan for these amazing shots of our 15th birthday/prenuptial parkrun/5KYW/Warks Search and Rescue/Active Travel Roadshow/parkwalk extravaganza.

And special thanks to the 54 volunteers who made it happen, including everyone who stepped in to attend to the parkrunner who took a tumble. He's now recovering at home, and has asked us to pass on his gratitude to everyone who helped him.💜

He'll be taking a week or so off, but hopefully see the rest of you on Saturday!

𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐫𝐮𝐧!
Not only is it our 15th birthday and our annual volunteer awards, but it is also 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐝𝐚𝐲 and the 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 are joining us too.
Saturday will be a celebration of volunteers and also a day to spread the word that walkers, in addition to runners, are welcome at parkrun. You are encouraged to invite friends and neighbours to join us on Saturday, whether they want to run, walk, skip, volunteer or spectate. All are welcome.
The Active Travel Roadshow will provide Free 'Dr Bike' checks, free BikeRegister security marking kits and a free active travel goodie to all who ride to parkrun. So, get on your bike this Saturday.
Which reminds me, the car parks are likely to be VERY busy on Saturday morning so, if you're driving please car share if possible and arrive early so you have time to find a parking space, or, even better, cycle or walk to parkrun.
Please only park in the marked bays and do not use the disabled spaces unless you have a valid Blue Badge.
