Ludgershall Sports FC

It is with great regret and sadness that we will have to fold the men’s team for the forthcoming season!

We’ve done all we can behind the scenes to keep it alive however it’s provern to be an extremely uphill task!

We’ve been in and around the club for some time now and this isn’t something that has been an easy decision to make.

We both personally have connections and memories that will forever be there.

We’ve been there through the roughest times and some good times!

Most of all the time and effort that’s put in behind the scenes is mentally draining and exhausting and we cannot continue to do this without full commitment from the amount of players needed

Thank you to all those that have helped us via sponsors, management and players.

We aim to look at starting again next year.

The final game of the weekend in the Premier Division was a South Wiltshire derby between Ludgershall Sports and Salisbury Development. It was to be a good afternoon for the Sports as goals from Dalitso Mandson and Nathan Strong secured a 2-0 win. They climbed a few places in the table and if their win against Odd Down Development is confirmed they will sit in the top half of the table and the highest placed of the three promoted sides.

Fantastic win tonight 3-0 vs local rivals Shrewton.
Despite the conditions and the fading light our lads were absolute Mustard from GK to CF right till the final whistle. Well done boys !!
