Hong Kong members led by Shihan Mathias training with Kancho Ishihara in Japan this week. They had a great time meeting up with Kancho and learning the traditional Gojuryu of Shoseikan.

Soke Katsutoshi Ishihara, Grandmaster of Shoseikan with the late Shuji Tasaki of Seiwakai. Established in 1968 with the permission of Gogen Yamaguchi, Shoseikan was a leading Gojuryu influence in the Chiba/Kanto area of Japan in the 1970s, 80s and 90s. We currently have groups in various countries but are now actively looking for Gojuryu branch leaders in countries that do not have Shoseikan.
