As we move into one of our most popular months of the year, the course is recovering well after recent rainfall.
Our team of Greenkeepers have been up against it, however the course has been a joy to play throughout the year.

❤️ MAGOOS DAY – THE 10TH & FINAL ONE ❤️

On Saturday, we held the 10th and final Magoos Day at Hunley Golf Club. 🥲⛳

Magoos Day was originally set up in memory of Peter Hartas, Craig’s dad, and over the years it has become a much-loved fixture in the Hunley calendar.

Although Saturday marked the final Magoos Day, it was fantastic to see so many people come together once again to enjoy the golf, have a few laughs and celebrate what has been a brilliant event over the years.

A massive thank you to Craig Hartas and Simon Wilkinson for all the hard work, time and effort they have put into Magoos Day. 👏❤️

Putting an event like this together year after year takes a huge amount of work, and their commitment has been a big part of what has made Magoos Day so successful.

10 events, countless memories and plenty of good times along the way.

It may be the end of Magoos Day, but the memories created over the last 10 events will certainly live on.

From everyone at Hunley, thank you Craig and Simon for everything you have done. ❤️

A Fantastic Result for Owen Walker!

A huge congratulations to Owen Walker on an excellent performance at the Faldo Series Finals, played at the iconic The Belfry this week! ⛳️

Owen finished 4th in the Boys 11–12 category, shooting an impressive 1-under par 33. Owen was tied on the same score as the players ahead of him, but was beaten on countback! 👏🔥

To compete at a venue like The Belfry and perform at this level is a fantastic achievement. Everyone at Hunley Golf Club is incredibly proud of you, Owen!

Last year, we worked with Hunley Golf Club to deliver an irrigation solution tailored to the course's needs, helping maintain healthy turf and consistent playing conditions.

The installation featured Hunter G-885 and G-85B golf sprinklers, paired with Hunter Industries Pilot® Central Control system, giving the course precise control over irrigation while delivering consistent water coverage where it's needed most.

THE HUNLEY BETTER HALF CUP ❤️⛳

Fancy bringing your other half along to Hunley for a fun afternoon and evening?

We're delighted to introduce The Hunley Better Half Cup — a relaxed and social event designed for our members to bring along their non-golfing partner for a bit of friendly competition, food and plenty of laughs.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Hunley member plays each hole, and once they reach the green, their Better Half takes over the putting.

THE COMPETITION

⛳ 6 holes
🏌️ Team handicap = 50% of the member's handicap
🎯 Maximum 6 shots per hole
❤️ Non-golfing partner takes care of the putting

The winning team will take home The Better Half Cup, with other fun prizes up for grabs too.

AND THEN... FOOD!

Once we've finished the golf, we'll head back to the clubhouse for a Pizza & Sides Buffet, followed by the prize presentation and drinks.
