Helping you and your horse reach your full potential - at your pace, on your terms. An Introduction
I started riding as a child and have never looked back!

Building confidence, enjoying the ride and now training in welfare-first bridle & bit fitting with White Horse Support. I have experience in showing with a previous ride, having competed at local level and also qualified for Equifest. My main passion is Dressage, however that doesn’t mean I’d say no to having a blast at Cross Country again! I enjoy working with horses with “personality” and progre

Episode 19 | Wednesday Wander 🔥

With warmer weather on the horizon again, how do you beat the heat?

05/06/2026

We spent a full 45 minutes in walk earlier this week.

Not because we couldn’t do more, but because we didn’t need to.

When you strip everything back, you often find the real gaps - balance, outside contact and what it actually means to ride from inside leg to outside rein rather than just be told to do it.

It’s easy to overlook the basics when you’re chasing “progress”, but sometimes that’s where the real progress actually is.

A message afterwards summed it up perfectly:
“Thank you for a brilliant lesson today! Was so insightful xx”

“I’ve trained with another coach for years and they’ve never made the changes you have. After just a few sessions, you’ve totally transformed mine and my horse’s work.”

Comments like this mean a lot.

Not because it’s about me, but because it reflects what good coaching should do: help riders understand what they’re experiencing, why it’s happening, and what to do next.

Real progress isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about finding the right explanation, the right exercise, or the right timing.

Watching horses and riders start to make sense of things together is one of the best parts of the job ❤️

Episode 18 | Wednesday Wander 🏇🏼

Summer is here, but do you have to make hay whilst the sun shines? 🚜

Confidence doesn’t stop you being scared. It gives you the tools to ride through the moments that make you scared.

The goal isn’t to never feel nervous. The goal is to trust yourself enough to keep riding when those nerves show up.

Every confident rider has moments of doubt. What sets them apart is knowing how to work through them ❤️

Longer days, warmer weather… and suddenly the pressure creeps in to do more, train more, achieve more.

But you’re allowed to step back from that.

You’re allowed to just enjoy your horse - in whatever way fits you both best, even if that doesn’t look like anyone else’s version of “progress”.

That time still counts ❤️

POV: you realise straightness isn’t just for dressage horses 👀🐴

Straight horse = straighter approach = better balance = better jump ✨

Tiny details make big differences in jumping. Sometimes the boring basics are actually the secret sauce 👏
