It's been so good to have been teaching back at St Lukes Sports Centre for the last few weeks. Thanks for having me 🥰💚
Classes are back to normal this week:
Strength and Cardio on Fridays at 9am (online) Dance Fitness on Saturdays at 9am (online).
If you're new to my classes, the first one is FREE 🥳
After this week, I'll be taking a 3 week Summer break ⛱️
And that's a wrap for the Pilates contact days with Choreography to go and Kelly Reed Fitness.
It's been a full-on 3 days of learning, reaffirming and developing skills and knowledge, as well as juggling childcare and teaching!
Kelly has been a brilliant guide and teacher since the start of this journey, putting us at ease, supporting us fully. And I'm not there yet, lots to do before I qualify and then always learning, growing, and updating my knowledge.
So many ideas running through my head, so watch this space 👀🤩.....
What I can say with confidence is how much I love Pilates and how excited I am to see where this ever changing journey will take me! And hopefully some of you will join me on it 🥰.
Back to office job tomorrow 🤪 so getting some much needed rest now 😊.

It is getting quieter as the Summer holidays kick in. I'm covering another class this week with but there is NO Strength & Cardio on Friday because I'm going be doing my Level 3 Pilates qualification with 🤩
Reduced timetable is:
Tuesday: Body Pump 17:00 (Exeter Uni Sports Park)
Saturday: Dance Fitness 09:00 (online)

My brother got married!!! Fabulous day in a gorgeous setting, full of happiness and lots of music and dancing!! A fantastic samba group, a flashmob and the brilliant band he plays in Dodgey Practice, who played such an excellent repertoire, most of which are songs in my Dance Fitness classes 😂 always such a joy to watch them!

Every week is mental health awareness in our lives, and moving our bodies can really help with moving our minds in a positive direction.
Why don't you try and find a way to move that works for you. It could be dancing along to a song on the radio or walking to the shops rather than taking the car. I know you've heard all this before, but have you actually tried doing it? 🤩

Our physical wellbeing journey is as much about mental health as it is about physical health, plus there are so many health benefits to physical activity as we grow older, especially women going through or approaching the menopause.
Please remember that strength training is so important and beneficial to our current and future health. I believe that many people just focus on cardio because they believe it helps with weight loss, for example.
If you have PT with me, I'll be there as a whole, I'll properly listen to your needs and my aim is for you to feel confident and happy with yourself.
Easter hols are coming to an end, and I'm finally coming out of this viral fug. Whatever it has been, it's certainly been dragging 😫.
After a lovely birthday break in the beautiful (if rather damp and cold) Brecon Beacons and some final few days off with the family, I'm now trying to get back into "work" mode! I've just written a rather long "to do" list! And am very much looking forward to getting back to training and teaching 😃.

Life has been pretty much on hold for the last 4/5 days, I've come down with some awful flu-like virus and have been laid up in bed, feeling the worst I have in years.
When you're self-employed, this also means losing money, I've had to cancel PT sessions, classes etc and it's really frustrating. I'm still not fully better but managed to get some much needed fresh air yesterday at the Dartington Estate. What a beautiful setting to help with a recovery 💚
No classes for a couple of weeks now and then hopefully will be back on form and raring to go!!
