We’ve moved! Social sec and DOR at our new social venue with owner Jayne. Princess Royal is lovely local pub in Crookes with a fantastic range of local ales. They have private function room so the club can continue with small distanced socials until restrictions are eased.

CHARITY RUN FOR SHEFFIELD HOSPITALS CHARITY:

Sheffield Medics RUFC are running the collective distance from the most northern NHS hospital to the most southern. We start from Gilbert Bain Hospital and end at West Cornwall Hospital. This is a total of nearly 1560 km in only 7 days !

As a medics club, many of our Old Boys are working on the frontlines and in hospitals today. We feel very passionately about supporting them and the whole NHS through this time. All the money we raise is going directly to the Sheffield Hospitals Charity. They do some amazing work both in hospitals and research. With your support we can help them and their patients in this crucial time.

The boys will be running everyday for 7 days and the first run will be this Monday (27th). The running will be strict to lockdown guidelines with a run no more than an hour long and at least 2 metres apart from others.

If you can please share this post or send it to friends and family it would be massively appreciated. Hopefully together we can make a difference.
