As well as various education events for schools, the South East team will be out and about at Weald of Kent Ploughing Match, Hampshire Countryside Day Sunday 13 September 2026, FFF&B Ploughing Championships and Country Show, South of England Agricultural Society Autumn Show and Horse Trials, East Kent Ploughing Match Association

We would like to thank Dominic Strutt (Leconfield Estates), Warren Broad (Deer Box) and Vicky Day (Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary) for speaking at our Talking Stalking event earlier this week. The evening was very informative and thought provoking. Thanks also to Hants Rural Crime team and Game Larder for joining us, including the very generous £50 voucher won by one lucky attendee.

It's Asian Hornet Week

Asian hornets pose a serious threat to our native pollinators and biodiversity. We encourage everyone spending time in the countryside to know what to look for and report any suspected sightings.

BASC is urging the shooting community to fight for its future by responding to a call for evidence on gamebird rearing, releasing and shooting in England, announced by the government today.
