I am the only licenced Boxercise instructor in Gosport qualified to an Advanced level and to teach Kids. I'm passionate about Boxercise and put a lot of effort into the development of my clients as well as helping them to achieve their personal fitness goals. Boxing as a sport isn't for everyone. Personally I hate the brutality it!
But as a form of exercise it is hard to beat.
Boxercise takes the training techniques used by professional Boxers, and makes them accessible to everyone regardless of fitness level, ability, or disability.
Everything that we do is highly adaptable so if you don't have full movement in a limb, can't get up and down off the floor too well, or don't feel confident enough to do a Burpee, there will always be an alternative.
Above all, and this is especially typical in my classes, Boxercise is a safe space where for an hour, who you are or what your story is gets put to one side.
When the gloves go on, everyone is equal!

Boxercise helps increase skeletal strength and bone density!

In Boxercise there is no physical contact between participants. All punches are aimed at Focus Pads.
Using these pads takes more concentration than strength, and needs correct coaching to avoid injury.
At my Boxercise Beginners workshop, I will show you how to use the pads safely and effectively, ensuring that you can handle even the most powerful punches.
Getting this right, will see your whole body gain strength and stability, and the impact will increase bone density which is critical for avoiding degenerative bone diseases like Osteoporosis later in life.

Decrease back pain, and develop your core strength through Boxercise!

A lot of Boxing matches are won on strategy, with good footwork being key.
Although Boxercise doesn't involve hitting an opponent, good footwork is key to being able to deliver and handle (through focus pads) big punches.
