last weekend we were lucky to give the field courses at Forest Spirit Archers a go!

The weather was (mostly) kind, but the angles sure weren’t. We had a wonderful time, and our archers will definitely be back again!

BUCS Round Up: Day Two!

This day our archers competed in a WA900 round, with weather that doesn’t decide what season it is!

Two of our archers walked away with medals, Josephine with bronze for women’s experienced compound and both her and John for the compound team!

Also would like to recognise Sharon for placing fourth in experienced barebow women and John for breaking the novice compound men’s WA900 score.

Bonus: button has some new pride merch!

BUCS Round Up: day one

After a day of travel down to Lilleshall, our team did an amazing job at the first day of ().

We are very proud of our archers, each doing very well in their respective categories, despite the classic Lilleshall wind.

Yesterday we competed at the Glamis Open!
This meant we had an amazing opportunity to shoot on the grounds of this castle, which many of the passer-By’s loved!

Two of our archers brought home medals in their respective categories - well done Sharon and John!

(Also a shout-out to Tom who survived the New Western round - he shot distances of 100y and 80y!).

Overall was a lovely restful day, and we all had a nap on the way home (but not Sharon, she was a responsible driver!)

So our new competition shirts arrived…

four of our talented archers made it to BUCS Indoor Finals this year, and brought back some fabulous results.

In particular, our talented outgoing captain Josephine won her category (Women’s Experienced Compound), taking home the gold and outshooting many other talented archers!👏🏻 🥇

We are very proud of Josephine, Sharon, Laura and Icarus for their performance at BUCS this year.

a chaotic close to our indoor season through Indoor H2Hs!

We entered many teams this year, and had some great outcomes too🤝

The top three qualifying teams all had SAUAC archers, and the final rankings after the team h2hs meant our teams placed, 2nd, 3rd and 4th!

All teams did an amazing job at this fun competition format, and we are immensely excited to kick off the outdoor season.

The last image is to reinforce button supremacy!!
