Leadership Doesn’t Have to Feel This Way
Have you ever found yourself lying awake at 2 AM, replaying decisions on a never-ending loop?
Found yourself pouring your heart and soul into everyone else—your team, your family, your business—and feeling like there’s nothing left for YOU?
Second-guessing yourself, even though your track record speaks for itself?
And let’s not forget the constant juggling act—balancing a million demands at once and still feeling like you're barely keeping your head above water.
Yeah, leadership can sometimes feel like an 80kg weight - heavy. One minute, you're navigating team dynamics, the next, you're facing a decision that could change everything. Add the pressure to always be “on”, and, no surprise, you’re feeling stretched thinner than your favourite pair of yoga pants after a few too many washes. 😅
But here’s the thing: it doesn’t have to feel like this.
Imagine waking up every morning feeling:
✨ Ready to lead from a place of authenticity and joy
✨ Confident in making bold, aligned decisions - no more second-guessing
✨ Equipped to handle your energy and priorities like a pro (and still have time for yourself)
✨ Able to work on the business, not just in it (finally!)
✨ Feeling like you’ve got space to focus on YOUR goals and growth
Does that sound like the leadership you want to experience?
Because right now, you might be:
🔴 Lying awake at night, questioning every decision you’ve made
🔴 Struggling to trust your gut—even though you’ve absolutely earned that trust
🔴 Giving ALL your energy to everyone else, with nothing left in the tank for your own well-being
🔴 Hitting that ceiling, wondering how to level up your leadership and impact
🔴 Wishing you could just hit “pause” for a moment to breathe, reflect, and recalibrate
🔴 Not having the mental capacity to focus on your own goals and growth
But what if you had someone in your corner—someone who actually gets it? A leadership ally who’s been where you are, and is here to offer real-time coaching and mentoring that actually moves the needle?
This isn’t about waiting for the next monthly coaching call. Nope. This is about getting personalised, on-the-go support when you need it most: when you’re stuck, when you need clarity, or when you just need to bounce ideas off someone who’s got your back.
✨ Something exciting is coming this Friday. So, if you’re ready to step into 2025 with clarity, confidence, and momentum, drop ME A DM and I'll give you early access.

🌿 Mantra 🌿
“Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them.” – Holstee Manifesto
This has been my personal motto for years, guiding how I show up in life and leadership. It reminds me that true success isn’t about what we achieve alone, but what we build together.
✨ Co-creation is at the heart of everything I do. Whether it’s working with ambitious women to accelerate their progression, holding week long leadership retreats or co-creating a companies strategy. Together, we create more than we ever could alone.
So I want to ask you:
Imagine if you had a circle of women who championed your ambitions, understood your challenges and celebrated your wins - how would this change the way you show up in your life and work?
There’s magic in collaboration, in holding each other accountable, and in celebrating our shared growth. That’s why I’m creating a sacred space for incredible women to come together and co-create.
Stay tuned… something special is coming. 👀💫

✨ Why you need to choose safety over striving ✨
In a world that celebrates pushing ourselves to the limits, have you ever stopped to question the impact of your relentless striving?
As Brené Brown beautifully articulates, “What if I told you that the greatest barrier to creativity and authenticity is not a lack of talent or ideas, but the fear of failure?” This fear, deeply ingrained in our culture, often propels us into a cycle of relentless pushing, where success becomes synonymous with survival.
What if Instead of pushing yourself to exhaustion, you prioritised safety as a foundation for growth and success.
Safety as a foundation for growth and success.
When you constantly push yourself beyond your limits, you neglect your basic need for safety and stability. Your nervous systems become overwhelmed, your body go into survival mode, and your ability to think creatively and critically diminishes.
In this state of constant stress, you become reactive and stop operating at your fullest potential. You are more likely to experience burnout and make rash decisions that impact your wellbeing, relationships and results.
This isn’t about playing it safe or avoiding challenges—it’s about creating the conditions that allow you to thrive authentically and sustainably. It’s about recognising that true success isn’t measured by how much we push ourselves, but by how well we look after ourselves and each other along the way.
Journal prompts:
1. Think back to the last time you felt compelled to push yourself beyond your limits. How did this impact your well-being and effectiveness?
2. Consider the messages you received growing up about success and achievement. How have these beliefs influenced your relationship with pushing and striving?
3. Now, imagine prioritising safety as a foundation for success. What changes could you implement to cultivate this environment for yourself and others?
Here’s the thing about striving. It will never feel enough. You will never feel enough. It’s a race with no finish line.
Let me know if you found this useful.

The Bold Reclamation of Your Voice 🔥
There’s a sacred power in our voices, a potency that often gets lost amidst the noise of expectations and societal conditioning. As women leaders, we’ve been taught to soften our edges, moderate our words, and fit into a mould that wasn’t designed for us. But what happens when we reclaim our voices – boldly and unapologetically?
Imagine speaking from a place of deep truth and owning your wisdom. This isn’t about being louder; it’s about being truer.
Reflect on these questions:
✨ How frequently do you find yourself censoring yourself to avoid discomfort or rejection, and how does this impact your ability to lead authentically?
✨ In what ways have you been conditioned to silence or doubt your voice, and how does reclaiming it challenge those ingrained patterns?
✨ What would it feel like to powerfully speak your truth, knowing your voice holds significance in shaping your leadership and inspiring others to rise the same?
Reclaiming your voice is an act of rebellion against the internalised patriarchy. It’s a declaration that your voice matters. That women’s voices matter.

Reclaiming Your Narrative
As women leaders, we carry with us a tapestry of stories—stories about who we are, what we can achieve, and how we should live. But what happens when those stories no longer serve us? What if you could reclaim your narrative, shed the old stories that no longer resonate and write new ones that reflect who you came here to be and the impact you desire to have?
What stories have you created about what’s possible for you? Societal and systemic influences often shape these narratives, influencing our beliefs about our capabilities and potential. But what if you could challenge those stories and redefine what’s possible?
Reclaiming your narrative is about owning your story and consciously choosing a narrative that supports your growth.
🌟 Consider these questions:
What old stories are you ready to let go of?
How can you begin to rewrite your narrative and honour your true self?
What does the next chapter represent for you?
Reclaiming your narrative requires you to step into the role of author. It requires courage, introspection, and a willingness to challenge the beliefs and norms that have shaped your life. But it’s also a powerful act of self-liberation.
You are the author, not a character; you get to decide the narrative and how this next chapter shapes you.
Remember, as Brené Brown says, “Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”
Are you ready to reclaim your narrative? If you’re feeling called to step into the role of author and write this next chapter, I’m here to guide and support you. I am opening up space for two 1:1 clients.

Reclaiming Your Power: Beyond the Patriarchy
Gang, let’s have an honest conversation.
What is your relationship with the word Power?
When I coach or mentor female leaders, they often feel disconnected from or uncomfortable with owning their power.
We’ve been conditioned to equate power with ego, relentless hustle and sacrifice, taught that our worth is tied to our productivity and achievements. But what if true power lies in embracing our wholeness, reclaiming the parts of ourselves that we’ve suppressed to fit into a patriarchal mould?
We can learn to dismantle the internalised patriarchy and redefine power on our own terms.
Power that comes from with(in), anchored in our values, intuition, and authenticity.
Leaders who believe in ‘power over’ have had their day. It’s an outdated way of thinking, driven by ego.
✨ Pause for a moment and reflect:
🤍 What does true, embodied power look and feel like for you?
🔥 When are you most in your power?
✋🏻Where might you be giving away your power?
You deserve to lead from a place of wholeness, where power and pleasure coexist.
Drop a ❤️ if you’re ready to reclaim your power and lead from your truth.

The Power of Saying No
In a world that often demands more from us than we can give, the word “no” becomes an act of rebellion, a boundary, and a declaration of self-worth. As women leaders, we’ve been conditioned to say yes – to opportunities, responsibilities, and the endless requests that come our way.
Saying no is not a rejection of others, but an act of honouring and attending to our own needs. It’s about creating space for what truly matters and protecting our energy for the things that align with our values, priorities and capacity.
✨ Reflect on these questions:
👉🏼 How often do you say yes out of obligation rather than desire?
👉🏼 What are the fears or beliefs that make it difficult for you to say no?
👉🏼 How would your life and leadership change if you honoured your boundaries more consistently?
💥 How to say no
1. Thank you, but I’ll pass
2. Thanks for thinking of me, but I’m at capacity right now
3. Now is not a good time for me
4. I don’t have the time right now
5. Thanks for asking, but it’s a no on this occasion
6. I’m not available for that right now
7. That isn’t possible right now
8. No, but I’ll let you know if anything changes
Learning to say no is an ongoing practice. It’s about reclaiming your time, your energy, and your right to prioritise yourself without needing to justify or explain yourself.
If you struggle to say no, drop a ✋🏻 in the comments.

🌟 In a world that often operates in binaries and absolutes, embracing the power of the ‘and’ can be a revolutionary act—a recognition that life is complex, nuanced, and multifaceted. It’s not about choosing between one thing or another, but rather embracing the richness of both/and thinking to create space for paradox and possibility.
💡 Through my work with leaders I’ve seen the transformative impact of embracing the ‘and’—the ability to hold opposing truths, navigate ambiguity, and find creative solutions to complex challenges. It’s a mindset shift that opens doors, expands perspectives and fosters innovation and collaboration.
🚀 So, this is an invitation to challenge the limitations of either/or thinking and embrace the expansive potential of both/and thinking. Whether it’s integrating different aspects of our identities, or embracing conflicting emotions, the power of the ‘and’ invites us to embrace the fullness of who we are and what is possible.
💭 Where in your life and leadership journey can you invite in the power of the ‘and’? Take a moment to reflect on areas where you may be stuck in either/or thinking and explore how embracing the ‘and’ can unlock new possibilities and pathways forward. You can learn to embrace the richness of both/and thinking and create a world view that honours complexity and wholeness.
