I've been named MD of the Year (Purpose-Led Fitness & Wellness Platform) at the SME News Awards 2026.

Feels a bit mad to say that when Impact Tribe hasn't even launched yet. 11 test users, built solo, evenings and weekends round a day job. So having this land before anyone's actually paid to use the app means a lot!

Event day is awesome and it is such a privilege to take part. Your journey starts now and I'm sure you'll find like I did that those months leading up to it end up.being so much more than the day itself.

Last week, my friend had invited me to do Southampton Park Run and I was so anxious!

I've done tonnes of organised runs with crowds of people, and this wasn't my first time at Southampton park run, or running with this particular friend either. There was no explainable reason, but I nearly didn't walk from my car to the start line. I did though.

The thing is, humans are not logical or explainable, and sometimes our inner voice challenges us more than the physical challenge itself.

Remember that every day, despite what else is going on, when we choose to move, we are doing so against the odds. These are all challenges overcome, and summits to be proud of.
