A second chance at fatherhood...
Unfortunately, my mum and dad split up when I was very young.
However, I am lucky enough to be getting a second chance at fatherhood to my two amazing children, Jacob and Amelie.
I'm lucky to get this photo, as Jacob does not really like having his photo taken, as you can probably tell.
So, I try my best to be the father that I needed when I was growing up.
Do I always get it right? No.(Of course not)
Do I continue to make mistakes? Absolutely
Will I do everything I can to be the best Father I can today and for as long as possible?.๐ฏ%
Is anyone else getting a second chance at parenthood? ๐๐

On Sat 16th May, Sport for Change Wolverhampton brought together 12 local organisations united by one shared belief: that sport and physical activity can change lives, strengthen communities, and improve wellbeing across Wolverhampton. ๐
๐ฑ Bobby Singh in Cue Sports โ using cue sports to build confidence, focus, social connection, and life skills for young people.
๐ Ethnic Minority Council โ supporting diverse communities through inclusion, advocacy, wellbeing initiatives, and community engagement.
๐ Dr Matilda Chongwa- Global Diabetes Initiatives โ improving awareness, education, and healthier lifestyles to tackle diabetes and health inequalities.
๐ค Keeping People Well โ connecting residents with services and activities, including padel and badminton, that improve mental health and wellbeing.
๐ No Limits To Health โ using cycling and community programmes to improve wellbeing, confidence, and healthier living.
๐ณ ParkPlay โ creating free, inclusive community play opportunities that bring people together and improve health and happiness.
โฝ Pro Alliance Sports C.I.C โ delivering sporting events for care-experienced young people, including the National Championship Cup at MK Dons Stadium on May 29.
๐ฅReel Grappling Jiu Jitsu โ promoting discipline, resilience, confidence, and positive mental well-being through martial arts training.
๐โ๏ธ โ using running and community support to improve mental health, motivation, and social connection, and helping recovery from addiction.
๐คผ Wolverhampton Wrestling Club โ developing discipline, strength, confidence, and aspiration through wrestling and kabaddi for local families and young people.
๐ Unique Movez Dance Collective โ empowering local women and girls through dance, creativity, and performance to improve confidence, expression, and wellbeing.
๐ The Way Youth Zone โ providing young people with safe spaces, mentoring, activities and opportunities to build brighter futures at its Youth Zone in central Wolverhampton.
Together, these organisations are showing that sport and physical activity are about far more than participation โ they are powerful tools for improving health, reducing isolation, building confidence, creating opportunity and strengthening communities. ๐ซถ ๐
The collaboration, energy, and shared commitment at Sport for Change Wolverhampton was truly inspiring to see, and this is only the beginning...

It's relaxed, inclusive, and built around the simple belief that play is for everyone, and it helps people from the community come together, connect, and be more active.
I'm hoping that with the support of my fellow Ignite Your Health CIC Director, Linda Aitchison, the Wolves Foundation, and other community organisations, we will be able to launch ๐๐ the West Midlands' very first ParkPlay in ๐ช๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐๐น๐. ๐ค๐ค
