The chairs are out & freshments ready

Now we just need you!

Our Pelvic Health Workshop is tomorrow, Saturday 26th September, 10am–12pm at my studio in North Shields.

Many of us couldn’t do a chin-up.

And that’s completely fine.

Because you don’t need to be able to do one to start working towards one.

In my new programme, there are different options depending on where your strength is right now:

Inverted rows
Banded chin-ups
Bodyweight chin-ups

You start where you are, build the strength, and progress from there.

Because if you never practise the movement or build the strength
how will you ever achieve the goal?

And that’s what I love about strength training.

The things you once thought were impossible slowly become things you can actually do.

This is why I don't expect every woman walking through my studio door to be strong already.

We build it.

And who knows what you'll be capable of a few months from now?

My next blocks are filling quickly. If you'd like to be first to hear about spaces, join the waitlist.

The things that connect and comfort you through the good and bad. One of these things for me is butterflies.

This is just any butterfly it's the ones that come under the times of need, joy or reflection and they stay for a long pause before they flutter away.

Butterflies and feathers have come and gone in my life from the most bazzare places and regardless of the explanation of how they appeared my heart bursts with comfort.

So 50km to 55.29km 😂😂, the joys of navigating, running and backtracking when you go the wrong way.

Still buzzing, everyday is a learning day.

First ultra marathon. 50K.

40mph winds. Crazy terrain. Proper fell running. And a LOT of climbing! 1,567 meters (5,141 feet).

Finished 6th overall in 7 hours 14 minutes and 2nd female.

My first proper fell run and what an experience. Absolutely buzzing! đŸ’Ș

Definitely one I’ll never forget.

Tomorrow I take on the Enchanted Ultra

Picked up the lurgy but I'll do my best đŸ’ȘđŸŒ

50K through the Cheviot Hills.
10 hours to navigate the route using GPS.
Steep climbs, technical descents, open moorland, rocky trails
and potentially some very unpredictable weather.

This isn’t just about running 50K. It’s about navigating, fuelling, managing my effort and keeping going when it gets tough.

I’ve done the training. I’ve put the miles in. Now it’s time to see what I can do.

And apparently there are fairies lurking around Hen Hole
so hopefully they’re feeling friendly tomorrow đŸ§šâ€â™€ïžđŸ˜‚

One foot in front of the other.
Stay fuelled. Stay steady. Keep moving.

50K. 31 miles. Let’s do this Sean Bloomfield

Lighter doesn’t mean easier.

After a high-rep upper-body session, we deliberately reduced the load for barbell shoulder press.

Because good programming isn’t about going heavier every single session. It’s about knowing when to push, when to adjust and how to keep progressing without constantly running yourself into the ground.

Strong training = smart training.

Progress over perfection. Always.

“I am loving the sessions 😘”
And honestly, that’s exactly what I want for every woman who walks through the door, to feel comfortable, supported, challenged and to actually enjoy getting stronger.

You’re doing fab, Jane. And yes
it really is only the beginning đŸ’Ș
