For ages 10-18
The program:
Saturdays 12-1:30: Surf
at Sennen or Perranuthnoe (whereever has juiciest waves)
Tuesdays 3:30-4:30: Skate, Strength and Stretch (weather dependent)
at Penzance prom opposite the Grand Casino
£10 per session
(October-November, February-May)
What you need:
Surf session:
Wetsuit, surfboard
Skate, strength and stretch:
skateboard, longboard or surfskate and yoga mat if you can. If you don't have a skateboard you'll be able to take turns borrowing mine.
The skate, strength and stretch session:
"Surf" skating practice with a theme to nail a particular surf manoeuvre, followed by a quick bit of strength training and stretching. These sessions teach the 3 major things you can do out of the water to complement and rocket-propel your surfing!
