🏏🏆TROPHY ALERT 🏆🏏

More silverware is on its way to the Upminster Park Trophy Cabinet after our U12 Girls sealed the Central League title this evening. They were pushed all the way though by our U11 Girls, before the U12s prevailed by 12 runs.

Both of these sides will be hoping to bring back further trophies on Sunday when they travel to Writtle for their Central Cup Finals.

Tonight’s match was a fitting way to end the summer coaching programme at Upminster. 20 weeks, 463 young players and lots of fun along the way. It’s been a great summer.

A lovely morning for our U9 Girls who took part in a Softball Festival at Witham Cricket Club

The girls won two and lost one of their matches and had great fun throughout.

Thanks to everyone at Witham for organising such a great event.

A great thrill for our U9 boys and U11 girls today as they got to meet the legend Sir Alastair Cook at the brilliant Rock Up For Randall event at Maldon Cricket Club

The event, held to raise funds for a great cause, is always one of the highlights of the summer, and we thank everyone at Maldon for a great day.

It was a busy day for a number of the boys team who had also played in a morning victory over Harold Wood in the Central League.

After yesterday’s title triumphs there is the chance of more silverware today (Sunday). The U14s will be taking on Harold Wood in the Central Cup Final at Upminster Park (11.30am). That game is followed by the U17 Central Cup Final between Hornchurch and Harold Wood (3.30pm).

Elsewhere the Women’s 1st and 2nd XIs complete their seasons with games against Hutton and Billericay while the Sunday League XI travel to North London to take on Sharks Cricket Academy in their final game of 2026.

A number of our other junior sides are also in action including three of our teams heading to Maldon for the brilliant Rock Up For Randall festival.
