We welcome members of all backgrounds and abilities, and do not pressure anyone to attend belt gradings or competitions. Your first two sessions are free.

Jitsu teaches highly applicable self-defence techniques that use the aggressor's own energy to their disadvantage, and is suitable for anyone of any age, size or fitness level. Jitsu, as we teach it, allows everyone to pursue their own goals - whether they be a black belt or simply wanting to feel safe after a night out. Hello everyone ‼️

As the academic year is starting, we would like to shed a bit of light as to why the Brunel Jiu Jitsu Club has not attended the Freshers Fair.

The committee and the coach have decided not to continue with classes this academic year of 2023/2024 due to an inflexible schedule for the coach and irregular attendance numbers.

We had an amazing time with everyone in the last years and we wish you success on your martial arts journey!

For now, the Jiu Jitsu club is signing off, with the potential hope of seeing you again sometime in the future!

We are reaching out to everyone who would be interested in stepping up and taking their martial arts journey to a next level by taking responsibility for all the official decisions concerning the club & its members. 😁

Does not matter if you are just planning to start, feel free to come and show that we can count on you and the position might be yours!

Position is open to students who will still be enrolled in the next academic year: 2023/2024.

If you have any questions regarding the position feel free to DM us!

Brunel Jiu Jitsu is back! And, despite some teething issues with venues and dates, our first proper taster session last night was a roaring success!

Thanks to everyone who came along to the session! I hope you all had a great time! We look forward to seeing you at the next session!

If you couldn't make it, DO NOT DISPAIR! Just come along to any session you can to try us out!

Just one week to go until the first freshers session of the year and the first in person Brunel Jiu Jitsu session since March 2020!

If you're new to Brunel and want to give our martial art a go, head on over to the Indoor Athletics Centre at ~7:50, dressed in sports wear/loose fitting clothes (i.e. not jeans etc) to see what we're all about.

For the returning members come along and remember what being smashed into the floor with love feels like!

We've also got a few belts who will finally get to see their owners!
