🟡 Great start to the Ferdinand Floodlit Cup for our U11s who took part on Monday 💪⚽️
Picking up 4 points from 2 games against two high-quality sides, a brilliant effort from the boys 👏 Plenty of quality on display across all matches, and every team in the competition has shown real strength and talent.
It’s all to play for over the next two weeks, but a fantastic start sees our U11s sitting in 2nd place in a tight group 🔥
Good luck to our U12s who take part on Friday, go smash it boys! 💛

⚽️ CONGRATULATIONS, HARRIS! 🔴⚪️
We are incredibly proud to announce that Harris has signed for Charlton Under-11s 👏
Harris joined us three years ago, and from the very first game we saw his potential straight away. Since then, he’s been a key part of our team — always spot on, always eager to learn, and always pushing himself to develop. His leadership, attitude, and ability on the pitch have been outstanding, and his progress speaks for itself.
We are so proud of the steps Harris has taken as he begins this exciting new chapter. We have no doubt he’ll continue to kick on and become the very best version of himself — and don’t be surprised if you’re seeing him on TV in the years to come 📺⭐️
A huge thank you to his dad for the constant support shown to Harris and to us throughout the journey — it truly means a lot.
We wish Harris and his family nothing but the very best and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
💙 Thank you, Harris — from everyone at the Playball family

🚨 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Ayman Sheikh signs scholarship with Millwall FC 🦁⚽
From grassroots to greatness.
Ayman Sheikh has been a part of Playball Football Club since he was just 13. His journey has been nothing short of inspirational—a true testament to the values we live by: resilience, humility, grit, and determination.
His path wasn’t easy.
❌ Rejected at his first ever trial with a Cat 3 club.
❌ Rejected by two Cat 1 clubs after showing undeniable promise.
✅ Signed at a Cat 2 club—only to later face heartbreak again.
But Ayman never let the setbacks define him. Just one day after being released, he stepped onto the pitch again—this time against his former club. He didn’t just show up—he scored a hat-trick. One week later, he was offered a full-time scholarship at Millwall Football Club.
Ayman is now 16 years old, living his dream—training and playing full-time at a professional club.
But what makes us even prouder is the young man he’s become.
He gives back. He mentors. He referees. He coaches our younger teams. He supports his family. He inspires our next generation.
He is what Playball Football Club is all about.
💬 “If Ayman is not the definition of hard work, determination and not taking no for an answer—then I don’t know what is.” From Manny
From everyone at Playball, thank you Ayman. We’re so proud of you and even prouder to say that we’ve played a part in your journey. We’ll continue to support you every step of the way and we know this is just the beginning.
🎓⚽ The dream lives on.

🔵 We are excited to announce that one of our players, Malaki Adomako-Quaye, has signed with Chelsea FC! 🔵
Malaki joined us last year as an U10 in December 2023 after being rejected by a Category 3 club for various reasons. Once we identified the challenges, especially in his psychological development, we worked tirelessly on all four corners of his game. With a focus on his mental resilience, as well as refining his technical and physical skills, Malaki made tremendous progress. His belief in the process, along with the support of his mother, paid off. A year later, he has silenced many doubters by signing with one of the top academies in England and the world.
We want to extend our thanks to Chelsea Football Club and all the staff involved in making this happen. A special thank you as well to Levels FC and Terry Bobbie for their crucial role in Malaki’s development and for helping make this opportunity possible.
Malaki Adomako-Quaye ⚽️ —remember the name.
