Meet Izzy. Whether izzy is chopping a bottle of wine, or selling out gym sharks stock she can’t help but show up for Brunel hockey. You may also know Izzy as a netball player, but don’t worry she’s already admitted she prefers us. Izzy is new on the pitch but her defence is as strong as her love for freshers, we’ll let you guess how strong that is. As long as no one steals her beige pre game food and ketchup, she’ll be ready to perform 💪

Meet Kira, our beloved social sec and web officer. Kira has a range of skills - including her reverse shot that knocks out innocent tennis players! Kira’s ideal socials come in the form of painting the girls green and blue and making us eat frozen peas (nutrition at its finest). She’s an aspiring physio and is always being asked to tape up people’s ankles and knees ( ). Kira’s a feisty addition to the team and if you’re not careful she’ll probably give you the death stare of doom, normally to the umpires though. And yes, she still loves a sausage roll from Costcutter.

Fun fact: I broke my ankle and tore my ATFL last varsity

Meet Molly. Strengths include ragebaiting (mainly Nitara) and rosè. Weakness: ankle. If anyone’s going full out at a social, it’s Molly. Green, blue and Gargamel? If you try catch her on a night out you’ll fail as she’s notorious for sprinting around venue like jagerbombs are running out all while literally dancing like nobody’s watching. Unlike a night out, on the pitch you can find her falling over her own feet. A piece of advice - don’t mention last years varsity (rip ankle). Jokes on you though, the ankle is back and ready for varsity action, some might even say she has the luck of the Irish?

2nd year medicine Fun fact: I play saxophone

This is Amy, everyone’s favourite Scot. Balancing time between hockey and medicine is a knack that not everyone can handle yet Amy manages it superbly. On a night out you know you’ll find Amy in burger max, cheesy chips in hand ordering her Uber home (it’s a 10 minute walk). You’ll also never see Amy in a repeated outfit, I think she alone has funded white fox and shein. Although she’s very busy, she always has time to be the friend you need and she’ll also give a hand to anyone in need. Hopefully varsity is a success for our secretary.
