The Clubhouse, operated by Uxbridge Golf Club - Hole 19 ltd, offering function rooms, carvery, restaurant and bar remains open.

The council has engaged advisors to assist in identifying a specialist operator for the management of Haste Hill and Uxbridge golf courses. As part of this process, the Uxbridge course will temporarily close.

The decision follows a significant decline in player numbers at both sites over the past year, exacerbated by consistently wet weather. Despite recent fee increases, substantial council investment, and an annual taxpayer subsidy, both venues have continued to operate at a considerable loss.

Today is Armistice Day and at 11am we will be observing a two-minute silence. To observe the silence on the golf course a klaxon will be sounded at the beginning and end of the two minutes.

We shall be observing a two-minute silence at 11am, in memory of those who lost their lives or have been injured in the two World Wars and more recent conflicts.

We’re thrilled to announce that the 8th and 9th holes have reopened today, thanks to the recent dry spell. This brings the course back to 12 holes. ⛳️😊

10 HOLE GOLF COURSE IN OPERATION
Due to waterlogging on the 9th hole, we are now operating as a 10-hole course, with a buggy ban in place.
A temporary scorecard with a map of the revised layout is being used, along with on-course signage.
