We recycle unwanted bicycles providing affordable bikes to the local community and help reduce the number of bikes that end up in landfill. Happy new Year to everyone.
We know none of us are starting the year on the best foot following yesterday's announcement.
As an update, Recycle-a-bike is still open for business, but will be operating under even stricter rules. We will be posting these in the next couple of days.
The Rusty Bike Cafe is currently open to trade today as we unpick government guidelines. It is still on a limited hatch takeaway service and we will update customers with more information on the Cafe as it becomes available.
We wish everyone good health in these times.
Stay safe.
RAB & Rustys
Merry Christmas one and all.
Thanks for all the support, all the custom, all the faith and all the craziness this year.
Ours doors are now closed until the 4th January 2021 & all our staff and volunteers are having a very well earned rest.
Hope to see you soon.
Stay safe and all the very best.

We thought we would post a quick update following yestedays announcements.
Recycle-A-Bike and The Rusty Bike Cafe will be open as they have been for the last few months and will continue to be so until official guidence instructs us otherwise.
We appreciate our customers and are always pleased to serve, however we do ask everyone to consider their journey to us and evaluate it's importance. As per the guidence, we urge you to venture out for essential travel only.
RAB has been producing fast turn arounds for commuter bikes since March and will continue to proritise keyworkers over the Christmas period.
The Rusty Bike Cafe continues to run a hatch takeaway service with almost a full menu and our recent editions of Bread and Egg sales. All in support of local workers .
Our community is continuing to try and reach those less fortunate in the local area during these times of crisis and welcomes any suggestions for us to be more involved.
Stay safe and enjoy Christmas in whatever form it may take this year. Certainly one we will all never forget.
All the best RAB & Rusty's.

We have been giving children's bikes away for the past couple of weeks, specifically reaching out to families in the community that have been affected by Covid.
We have a handful left and would welcome anyone looking to give our young community members a big smile this Christmas to get on touch.
No catch, no commitment, just some of our bikes from us to you. If you are interested, please call 01895 347210

It's in the air.
Some of us have even watched a on already (maybe even two). Christmas and are on our doorstep.
The weather is turning and the daylight hours are small. Usually this means bike trails are for the taking. They get quieter due to fair weather riders giving it a miss after looking out the window or placing a toe out the back door, but not this year.
Once again 2020 rears its head. The trails are still busy and people are investing more and more time into cycling. Although we are missing a bit of elbow space on the odd ride, we couldn't be happier seeing people turning to the two wheeled way.
With this and the festive season in mind, we came across an awesome picture attached to this little idea from a few years back.
Entertaining and fitting for this weekend and the ones to follow.
