A couple of weeks ago we wrapped up our inaugural season with our end of season awards. Massive congratulations to all of our winners, and an even bigger thank you to everybody who supported us this year, your backing genuinely meant the world to the team. We may have narrowly missed out on silverware, but this season was something special and we can’t wait to go again.

Touch rugby is back for the summer.

Every Tuesday from 7pm on Uxbridge Common, we’ll be getting together for a run around, throwing a ball about and pretending we still have functioning hamstrings.

Whether you’ve played for years, never touched a rugby ball before, or just fancy getting out of the house for a bit, come down and give it a go. Open to everyone aged 17+ and all experience levels welcome.

No pressure. No commitment. Just rugby, sunshine and questionable fitness levels.

Man Of The Match goes to Niall for an incredible performance from the front row, both in open field and in the scrum.

Dick Of The Day goes to Brandon for shouting “they don’t want it” while 30 points down, but he’d already left so we have it to Meady for not having a tie.

Our Man Of The Match goes to James who scored a brace of tries while playing flanker and scrum half. He set the pace for the team and was a key part of our win.

Dick Of The Day goes to Ryan, a man who upon seeing he was playing second row hoped he was actually playing full back. What a dick.
