On Sunday we hosted SAINTS FOOTBALL CLUB U11's for our 2nd pre-season friendly ahead of the 2026/27 season. FRIENDLY – DEFEAT

With Coach Bacai unavailable due to a family bereavement and Coach Ash also away, a number of our parents stepped up to take charge of the team, and we want to give them a massive thank you for stepping in and giving it their best.

Managing a team from the sidelines is never as easy as it looks. Making the difficult decisions around who starts, when to make substitutions, who comes off and how to react to what is happening during the game takes experience, so huge respect to the parents who took on that responsibility for the boys today.

We started the game really well, took the lead and played to our strengths. There were some very positive moments early on and the boys showed exactly what they are capable of when they move the ball, work together and play with confidence.

However, with our pre-season preparations not getting underway in the way Coach Bacai had originally planned, the lack of match fitness began to show as the game progressed. There were plenty of rusty legs out there and, as fatigue started to set in, Saints began to take advantage.

The second half followed a similar pattern. We came out strong again and competed well, but as the boys tired, Saints continued to play some very good football with intensity, movement and energy that we simply struggled to keep up with.

It exposes the areas we need to improve, builds fitness and gives us something to work towards before the competitive season begins.

There are no excuses and no panic. We learn, we work and we come back stronger.

A massive thank you to Saints Fc U11s for another competitive game. A very strong side who played some excellent football and gave our boys exactly the type of test they needed.

Well done to all the players, coaches and parents involved.

Uxbridge United FC U11 Reds – Players Wanted

As we prepare for the 2026/27 season, we are looking to add a small number of quality players to our squad as we compete in Division B/C (Division 2/3) of the Harrow League.

We are particularly looking to strengthen in the following positions:

🧤 Goalkeeper (priority position)
⚽ Outfield players

We are seeking players who already play at a strong level or have the ability, attitude and desire to compete at a high standard. Technical ability is important, but attitude, commitment and willingness to learn are what truly separate good players from great players.

Our coaching team, led by a UEFA C Qualified and Double Award-Winning Coach Bacai, will provide the guidance, structure and development needed to help players reach their potential and become part of a formidable team. However, coaching can only take players so far – we need players who are willing to work hard, learn from mistakes, support their teammates and bring energy and intensity to every training session and matchday, so discipline is a big drive within our team.

Just as importantly, we are looking for committed families. Parents play an integral role in a player's football journey, and we want to build a positive environment where players, coaches and parents work together to help every child succeed.

Managers player of the match – ZW - Played a great first half, very strong on the wing, both in attack & defence. Showed great skill in beating players and passing/crossing at the right time. Still room to approve off the ball later in the game but showed a lot of promise and signed off with a goal too. Well done Zor 👏🏻

Today we hoste Burnham Juniors Fc U11 Whites for our first pre-season friendly of the 2026/27 season. FRIENDLY – DRAW

Today was all about testing the boys, seeing where they are after the break and getting them back into that match-day mentality. Burnham gave us exactly the type of test we needed.

The boys showed heart, determination and hunger throughout the game. There were moments where we had to dig deep, stay together and keep fighting, and that’s exactly what they did.

Plenty to work on, plenty to improve, but also plenty of positives to take away. Pre-season is about development, learning and getting stronger every single week.

We’re only getting started.

A massive thank you to U11 Whites for making the trip and giving us a brilliant competitive game.

A very strong, organised side who played some excellent football. Their movement, passing, intensity and desire made it a really good game to watch and exactly the challenge we wanted for our boys.

Fair play to all the players and coaches from both teams.

These U10s have left it all on the pitch, pushing limits and building character for next season and beyond. With 6-7 summer tournaments still to come, this team is hungry for silverware.

Let’s finish the 25/26 season strong.
