Understanding Your Workout Zones: From Chilling Out to All-Out Effort!

Imagine your fitness routine as a car with different gears, each serving a unique purpose:

🚶‍♂️ Zone 1: This is your chill zone, where you're basically taking it easy, recovering, or just going about your day.

🏃‍♀️ Zone 2: Think of a leisurely jog or a long walk. You're in this zone for longer workouts, around 60-90 minutes, helping your body get better at using fat for fuel.

🚴‍♂️ Zone 3: Here's where your heart really starts to work, improving your overall heart health. This zone is great for tempo runs or steady-paced efforts.

🏋️‍♂️ Zone 4: Now we're mixing things up, using more oxygen (aerobic) and less oxygen (anaerobic) for energy, and getting your body to switch to using carbs as fuel.
