Open days are back at Dearne Valley field club. January will be too cold for me, but hopeful for February & March.

It was a cold one today! Looks like I’ll be stepping up the layers for the next few weeks, as 4 plus an electric one wasn’t really enough 😆

Some progress made on my bow hand but it’s not quite perfect, although I seem to have improved by left & rights in the process 🥳

Answers on a postcard….

I’m developing a bruise on my bow hand, which is from the rest post shot shown here in this slo mo, it lightly taps but annoyingly the bruise develops outwards 🫣

My finger sling is as tight as it can go.
I’ve previously tested a wrist sling, and my wrist can’t take the weight of the bow post shot since my bow naturally jumps forward based on my weight distribution.

I headed up to the club this morning for a few hours in a warm sports hall. How great do these Reign Bowstrings look on my grey Mybo Revolution 37! I was mainly tuning today, but ran out of time 😭. Next indoor session isn’t for a week, so it’s back to indoors outdoors at home 🥶

A day of annual leave means I get to catch up on bow maintenance. Today I’ll be fitting my new Reign Bowstrings to my Mybo Revolution 37.

I’m fortunate to be able to shoot 18m at home outside but the wind is bad today out so defo won’t be getting all this done today.
