Another strong and consistent weekend for .knight_racing saw him deliver on all we asked, with him bringing home 3rd place in round 3 and 3rd place in round 4 π. Presley is progressing at a remarkable pace, and I am very proud to be part of his journey. Thanks goes to Presley's mechanic .crombie.1 - dream team!
π‘ Micromax
continued to impress in his second weekend in a micromax kart. Lack of seat time did not stop Ellis, and he continued to exponentially improve throughout the weekend, bringing it home P9 in round 3 and P7 in round 4! With some testing under his belt in the next few weeks, Ellis will continue to develop!
Thanks to all involved, it's good to work with such fantastic people and families. Looking forward to the next one!

Presley had another strong day, showing more and more consistency. After we ironed out a couple of mistakes made in qualifying, he converted his P6 starts into P2 in heat 1 and P1 in heat 2.
This gave Presley pole for the final and he brought it home P2. π
Toby demonstrated he is getting back into the groove after 7 months away from karting.
He was P1 in qualifying until he tangled with a slower kart.
Toby took P2 in heat, and was battling in the top 3 in heat 3 before an unfortunate crash with a back marker. Toby was badly shaken up but wanted to go out in the final, making up 5 places at the start, but struggling to hold on towards the end as the earlier crash took its toll on him. A tough weekend but he has shown his talent.
Ellis really impressed again, racing inside the top 10 all day, working on braking later and harder every time he went out and getting stuck into some overtakes. Unfortunately, he broke down in the final, but Ellis has shown he is going to be one to watch in coming rounds.

A day of real highs and lows!
Presley showed real grit today after falling foul to poor driving standards in everyΒ race, including the final. Despite the horrendous luck, he kept his head and finished P2! A huge well done to and for P1 on track.
In Micro Max, Ellis has quickly adapted to the change in class, making improvements every session and really applying himself to everything I have coached him on. He finished the final a fantastic P9- a top ten finish in his first national race!
Toby Cannon suffered from a mechanical in qualifying, which meant he started the races P15. Toby drove incredibly well, coming through the field to finish the heats P4 and P6, which put us in a strong position to challenge for more in the final. Unfortunately, any hope of a good finish to the day was ended on the start line when Toby was unceremoniously dumped off the track. Loads of progress made though and positives to take into round 2 tomorrow.

Ellis tested on Friday ahead of round 1 next week and very quickly adapted to the additional grip, speed and brake power of the Micromax. I am looking forward to supporting Ellis in his move to cadet racing. π
Despite being ill, Presley's confidence and consistency continued to improve, resulting in P2 in the superheat, qualifying p2 for the final, and a p4 finish. At age 6, this is a brilliant start to the year for Presley and his first trophy at this level. Lots of positives and learnings to take away from this weekend. πͺ
I am really looking forward to the year ahead with these two brilliant little drivers. π
