Primarily a Newcastle United supporter, but also a lover of the game at all levels both at home and abroad. All photographs are my own.

Was inspired to start my own page after viewing some of the excellent ground hopping pages on Facebook.

My first ever visit to Dr Pit Welfare Park to see 1999 F.A Vase runners up Bedlington Terriers FC . Today’s opponents were East of Scotland league side Musselburgh Athletic. A decent size crowd we’re their to witness the visitors win a hard fought contest by a 1-0 scoreline.

Estadio La Rosaleda
La Liga 2
Malaga 3 Real Zaragoza 0
Entry €15.00
Programme/Team sheet - Didn’t see any.

First update for quite a while after I got out of the habit during corvid. In Malaga for a few days and noticed this game was taken place. Purchased tickets at the stadium 90 minutes before kick off. Both sides are currently languishing in the lower reaches of the Spanish 2nd tier, but on the day Malaga ran out 3-0 winners.

The statistics from another corvid affected year. Got out of the habit of updating this this page during the last 6 months or so. Might fill in the gaps over the next few weeks.

Match 44 of 2021/22
13th November 2021
Moor Park
Northern League Division 2
Chester-le-street Town 3 Willington 3
Entry - £5.00
Programme - £1.00
Attendance - 207

I had originally intended to go to the wearside league game between Silksworth C.W & Coxhoe Athletic, but a late change of plan resulted in me attending this game. Chester-le-street took the lead in the first couple of minutes, but poor defending resulted in them being 3-1 down by the half hour mark. They managed to pull themselves level with two goals just before half time which made it 3-3 at the break. A bad tempered second half saw no further goals and Willington were reduced to ten men for the last 20 minutes. Both sides had chances to take all three points, but had to settle for one point each.

Hard fought match between two decent sides. A well organised and aggressive Burradon And New Fordley FC were reduced to ten men, but proceeded to go 1-0 up midway through the second half. They were later reduced to 9 men seconds before Dan Stephenson scored direct from a free kick to level the scores late in the game. Killy won on pens to take home the trophy.

With my last match of 2020 done and dusted thought I’d share my futbology match stats for the year. Needless to say corvid has hindered match going this year.
